Good news folks!

My script “Sex Doll 7.0” sold to a producer in the US who will shoot it as animation

I might have more good news in the near future, but for now… this one is official.  And while I wrote this script for a *cough* rival site *cough*, the producer found my work here at simplyscripts.

So thanks to Don and you guys.

There’s a small favour I’ll need from any of the mods. I’m sorry to bother you (unless it’s bert).

While the producer didn’t ask me to take the script down from the site, I think it would be right to include a note about the sale by the script’s logline, something like “NOTE: The author no longer owns the rights of the script, which remains displayed solely as a writing sample”.

I will appreciate if you do that for me.

Thanks again.

Congratulations. Is it the first script you have sold?

Congrats, Z.

I took care of the note on the discussion thread for you as well.  Don will have to take care of the listing on the main page though, since that's a whole other ball of wax.

Yeah, fine.  Don't come lookin' to me unless the "favor" you need is euthanasia.

Congratulations Z. I read the script and it will work great as an animated story. Best wishes on the project.

Matias,

Congrats.  That is great to hear.  However, since you no longer have the rights to the script, I will have to take it down, unless the new owner wishes to keep it up.

Thanks all for the kind words, they mean a lot.

Also, thanks for the unkind words. They don’t mean squat. But make me laugh.

Ste – If I recall correctly, it was the producer who asked about the right’s purchase price. Great guy, very professional.

Dreamlogic – Not the first time, but of the scripts I got uploaded here it was the first.

Mike – Thanks for taking care of the note.

Breanne – Thanks for taking a look at the script. Let me know if you need a read on something.

Don – I asked the producer to let me know if he wanted the script taken down and he never said anything about this matter. But if you think it’s better to take it down, go ahead, no problem. Thanks for everything, man.

Thanks again guys and gals. Hope that someday I will be able to show you the finished film.

Congrats on having this produced, Z!

I haven't read this, but will I have the chance to do so? Has the script been taken down?

All right, so I'm late to Z party.  Can you blame me?
You keep winning things and having shorts produced, that I thought I already
gave you an Attaboy.
Hey, congrats, Matias.  Sorry I didn't read this one, but I think I downloaded a copy
way back.  Animation, huh?  How animated is this thing gonna get??

Abe - thanks, man. The producer’s idea is to mimic the destint oil painting look of old paperback pulp fiction covers. I hope they can pull it off.

Sham - Thanks!

Julio - Gracias!
