I'd do it right! That movie had so much potential and it just kinda sputtered into a curled up position and died. I'm not gonna lie... it still scared me. But it could have scared EVERYBODY!
Also, Pumpkinhead. With today's technology, this would be awesome. I started a Pumpkinhead fan fic awhile ago, but never got into it. I may pick this back up.
Because... it just kinda sputtered into a curled up position and died. Let me elaborate. It a slasher thriller where the killer is the tooth fairy( a really fucking creepy tooth fairy). This movie needed to be a hard R film. Instead what we got a a PG-13 tweenie film filled with annoying jump scares and cliches(I know, I know, what could I possibly add to it that's not cliche?). The opening was amazing and haunting. It actually creeps me out just thinking about it. Sadly the movie never came close to reaching that level of intensity and suspense even once more in it's insanely short run time(like 70 minutes or something). When ever I ask people if they've seen this movie, they say no. When I tell them it's about a killer tooth fairy, they laugh at me and say "that's stupid". Then I make them watch the opening, they squeal like bitches, and then I turn the movie off. When they ask me why I turned it off, I reply "that's the only part worth watching".
I watched Pumkinhead a few weeks ago. I think it worked pretty well with yesterday's technology. Nowadays the whole creature would be generated digitally. (= )
The beginnig could be better though. Quicker, more interesting...
