I had to think awhile if it was right to reveal this.

My decision is that it right to do so because it has obviously been a sign.

For two weeks I had generated a lot of energy towards the writing of the next

OWC

For those not aware, it stands for :O

ONLINE WRITING CHALLENGE

It's a very special time when our writers absorb themselves into a dedicated work allocated by Don, our very special and wonderful Sage.

Don is a special and low profile kind of gentleman on Simply and I don't think he realizes his own importance.

Today, when we drove into Calgry--

Believe it or not--

Still I have a hard time believing it even though I had seen it
with my own eyes!!!! ...

The car in front of us-- their license plate-- it read:

MEM

The following numbers I think were 459, if I remember correctly.

The thing is:

I had just finished working hard to complete a composition I had entitled: Mem--

There are many discernment's here,  but the most basic of them, is the one that is granted by a Divine Hand.

Quoted from Signs
People break down into two groups when they experience something lucky.

Group number one sees it as more than luck, more than coincidence. They see it as a sign...evidence that there is someone up there watching out for them.

Group number two sees it as just pure luck, a happy turn of chance.

I'm sure the people in group number two are looking at those lights in a very suspicious way. For them, the situation isn't -- Could be bad, could be good. But deep down, they feel that whatever happens, they're on their own. And that fills them with fear.

Yeah, there are those people.

But there's a whole lot of people in the group number one. When they see those lights, they're looking at a miracle. And deep down, they feel that whatever's going to happen, there'll be someone there to help them. And that fills them with hope.

See, what you have to  ask yourself is, what  kind of person are you?

Are you the kind who  sees signs, sees miracles? Or do you believe that  people just get lucky?

Or look at the question  this way...is it possible that there  are no coincidences?

I read a book about coincidences, all factual apparently.
The best one was about an opera singer in the 19th century. He was from Maine but died suddenly on tour in New Orleans and was buried there. A few months later, a hurricane hit and flooded the place. His and other coffins were washed out to sea.

Nine years later, his coffin washed up on the beach of his home town.

And it's no coincidence that the word remember has MEM in the middle of it.  For that matter inside remember is the word member which starts with MEM. Member is a member of remember.  But the strangest of all is that MEM is a palindrome, it's the same backwards as forward.  That can't be a coincidence.

It is merely a state of mind.

Have you ever noticed when you buy a new or used car, all of a sudden you realise how many of the similar model are on the road.

or, even when you fall pregnant, it is only then that you realise how many pregnant women surrounds you.

It is a subliminal effect. You pick up things that were always there but never noticed before because they had no real meaning for you.

Coincidence? For last Fathers Day (here in France it's in June) my son offered me a elaborated pencil pot he made at school. Everyone in his classroom did exactly the same. My son doesn't know I'm writing scripts and never been aware of the shooting of my short "Aubrey". And guess what  the pencil pot was? A giraffe...

(those who have read it will know what I mean...)

Coincidence?

I just finished a unit of study called Introduction to Mental Health and today I was reading about asylums and the treatment of the mentally ill in the 1800s. One of the readings mentioned an asylum in London called Bedlam. Anyway, I had an appointment I had to go to so I stopped studying and got in my car and switched on the radio. On the radio there was a guy talking about his new book called Parallel Sorrow which is an account of his struggle with depression and he was talking about some of the poor treatment he received while he was in an institution, such as shock therapy.  As I'm listening to this I turn right at a set of traffic lights and there's a car directly in front of me with a personalized number plate that read BEDLAM.

I doubt this means anything. But if the universe was trying to tell me anything it would be that I'm in harmony with life at the moment and I'm doing what I need to be doing.

I agree that this is a sign that's telling you that there are no coincidences, really. Everything happens for a reason; though it's very hard to understand this because sometimes, we suffer hard blows-- and yet, we've been given this concealment of "future" as a gift. Although, some people do have the gift of foresight, which is both a blessing and a curse.
