Hi

I received an email today saying that an old script of mine, '070705', had been produced. It's up on youtube here if anyone wants to check it out. I'm pretty pleased with how it looks.

Anyone wanting to compare the film to the script can find the thread here.

There were a few changes made, based mainly on the comments from the script thread on here.

I think the director - Adan Morell - has recently joined the site, so he might chime in at some point.

Cheers

I liked it. More subtle than the original script. Kudos to you, the director and the actors.

That's wicked awesome, man. Very well-shot. I never got the chance to read the script -- I don't believe I ever saw it posted at all -- but even though the film was well-executed, I think the story tried to bite off more than it could chew. Terrorism AND  a love story? That's some heavy stuff for a four-minuter. But I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Congratulations on getting it produced.

Great news, Ste.

I must say, the director has a very interesting visual style. Do you know what type of camera he used?

It looked like it was becoming an iphone advertisement at one stage around the middle.

Had you any idea that this was happening or did the director just email you out of the blue saying he had made it?

Once again, I loved the look of this. Congrats

Thanks folks,

Col, no I didn't know anything about it until the director emailed me yesterday. I'd forgotten about a comment I made on the script thread though saying that 'anyone wanting to take the script and use it or expand it have my full permission'.

I'm not sure what camera he was using but I've sent him an email with a link to this thread so he might answer that himself. I agree with you though, looks really good. I also thought the main actress did really well.

I remember this one.

Congrats on getting it produced.

Soon as I saw her texting, I had to grab my glasses...
I still think a phone call would have been better than the texting, but hey, that's just me. Otherwise, I think it was pretty neat.
