Hey guys;

So where do I start? My name is Daniel Rutter... and I'm an amateur short film maker/director from Australia. I've been trying my hand at writing and directing for at least five years now, despite not having any training in the field. I do it as a hobby currently, with the intention of doing proper indie films (or possibly become studio material) later in life.

I've probably written about 4-5 short film scripts. All up, I may have STARTED writing so many more, but I usually stop after a few pages.

I'm an avid action film lover, inspired by the likes John Woo and Robert Rodriguez.

What else is there to say? Well... I'm here to hopefully learn new techniques in writing scripts, stuff that will help unlock my mind and let the ideas flow free and of course... share my writing for friendly criticism. I look forward to reading your scripts, and hearing your opinions on mine!

Thanks for the opportunity to join your community.

- Daniel Rutter

Daniel

You seem to have the right idea in your approach to the site and what you seek to get out of it...as well as put into it.

You won't be disappointed.

Welcome.
