Hello to all! My name is Antoine and I just recently got into writing scripts after finishing several beginning Screenwriting and Film History courses at my school. My field of expertise is traditional animation, but my desire to enter into the realms of screenwriting comes from the fact that I enjoy writing stories on my free time and I wish to understand the process that screenwriters go through to help improve my animating skills as well as bring my own stories to life. I look forward to getting to know everyone here and gaining much needed experience and exposure from those willing to spread their knowledge. Thanks and have a nice day!

Personally I live though a load of unnecessary grief and anguish about intangible concepts like money. And authority. Then I get drunk. Sorry, I've been at it again. Welcome. The rest of them are nicer than me. Certainly more logical at least. Well, most of 'em. Hope you enjoy yourself here. They will help. R

Thanks for the welcome, dogglebe. I'm not surprise not seeing many animator here, since most that I know find just animating hard enough. Add trying to learn proper scriptwriting and you can find yourself getting in pretty deep. Though I find it pretty fun myself.

We have plenty of animated characters, here, though not enough animators. And animated scripts are few and far between (through there will be one more in about three weeks). Fate, read some scripts here. This is the best way to learn scriptwriting. Books stop a little short. Reading and commenting on others will also help you get your script read. Phil

Welcome to the boards. You can learn lots here and one of the best ways you can do that is to read and comment on some of the scripts here. Cheers.
