Okay - here's a "getting to know you question":

What's your favorite cheesy movie?

I'll start:.  Flash Gordon, by a mile!.  Great soundtrack, terrible (though colorful) FX....and absolutely horrible acting.  Just perfect, all around!   Think I'm going to get it on Itunes...

"Rocky Horror" by a mile.

It is not my favorite film by any means -- and yet I have seen it probably 5 times more than any other film ever.

What could that possibly mean?

Edit:  "He asked rhetorically."

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

It means you live near a major arts city or a college, I think. Did they have the live actors on the side too?

Actually never saw Rocky Horror with an audience, myself.  Probably seen it about 5-6 times, though.  It wears really well.  (Of course, so do Priscilla, The Hangover, and Repo, the Genetic Opera...)

I've seen Rocky Horror at least 13 times and with all kinds of audiences.  Even once with a stage show up front.   There was nothing quite like a Rocky Horror midnight show.

There was guilty pleasure thread where I answered Flash Gordon and Sgt. Pepper, so I'll stick with those.

I've seen RHPS about twenty times in the theater, with a live audience.  Then I bought the VHS and watched it at home.  With the audience participation, the movie sucks.

Cherry 2000 is a great/awful movie to watch.

I guess The Notebook has to fall into this category. And yes. I cried.

HA!!!     Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!  YES!!  Saw it at the theater as a kid twice.  Fond memories.  Funny stuff...the ultimate in cheese...maybe...

Never could get through RHPS, and have zero interest in it now.

I don't know, is Starship Troopers considered cheese?  If so, easily my favorite.  Actually think it's a damn entertaining movie anyway you look at it.
