Hey, I'm new to this forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself.  My name is Kevin, and the past few months I've been writing my first screenplay.  I spent a lot of time on screenwriting sites, and I was hoping that I would find a site like this where I could read other people's work.  I've been reading scripts on this site since I found it, and I've found it to be very helpful when it comes to my own screenplay.  Now that I'm a member, I plan on reviewing scripts as often as possible.  And as soon as I finish the initial revisions of my screenplay and get it copyrighted, I'll post it here.  Thanks in advance to anyone who gives it feedback.

Hi kevin,

I am new around here as well but it is definitely a good place to learn.

One tip given to me was to use the portal icon. Others probably knew that but I didn't and it has been much easier to see what's going on.

I noticed a review of yours on an old script. I like to pick up scripts that have already run their course and see how my thoughts compared to others. However, I would suggest you are careful to review a script where the author doesn't appear to be here anymore. I did this a few times and to be honest it's not worth it plus it takes up space on the portal pushing new postings down.

Beware the script of the day from an author who never responded once when it was originally posted!

Finally have a go at the one week challenge. The last one has just completed, another is approaching.

Hope you enjoy

Cheers

RD

Hey, Grady.  Welcome to the boards.

We already have some Kevin's, so I'm going to call you Grady.  I don't think we have any Grady's here.

Lol.  I was here for about a year before I found the portal button.  I saw people talking about a portal, but I thought they were referring to something in someone's sci-fi script.

Anyway, welcome aboard.  It's nice to meet you.
