Just to follow suit from Felipe... I`ve been around since August but never formally introduced myself.

My name is Mark... I was born in Northern Ireland during the fun troubles of the 70` 80`s and 90`s. I arrived in New York for St Paddys day and 13 years later I`m still here... with an Italian wife and 2 beautiful daughters Julia 7 and Natalie 4( I think that`s their ages)

I`m an electrician by day and sometimes by night. I try and write when I can, even at work... I have a crap load of napkins or pieces of paper in a folder when I get an idea or a funny story from the construction site.(Great place for stories)

My tv pilot Loserville has made it to the final 8 of the wildsound contest..Decision on Apr 1st... And for that I would also like thank SS members for helping  Especially  Coop(Steve), with his awesome feedback and a being a good friend and Arty and Dena(Pale Yellow) and a few others.

To show my respect for this site... This is how I answered a question about myself.

11. Any advice or tips you'd like to pass on to other writers?

Keep writing and reading other scripts, it`s always a learning process. I belong to an excellent screenwriting site called Simplyscripts. It's just your everyday screenwriters like ourselves learning from each other, which in turn enables us to submit higher quality scripts to great sites like Wildsound.

Have a good one

Mark

Cheers, mate.

Good to see you introducing yourself finally...how long have you been on SS now?

See Liverpool have been getting some good results recently.

Congrats Irish. All the criticism you'll receive over the script is only to help you. Nothing more. Also, it's your choice if you want to take the advice or criticism on or not. We're all writers and have our own opinions of what's good or bad. What matters is if you sell  screenplay or it gets made.

Hello, Mark. Nice to see the new blood and I mean that in a completely non-vampire sort of way.

Going through some old music. Found this:

Coop... Always good to hear from you.... glad villa is having a better season

Dena... Thank you again. You're the best

Reef... Good to hear another Liverpool fan on here... at least we have a trophy.

Gabe... It`s all good... As it`s always stated.. comedy is subjective... You either like it or hate it... either way I appreciate all feedback and anyone that reads my stuff ....By the way where in New York are you?

Sandra... Thank you... I love the names...Monkey Majik is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in 2000, consisting of two Canadian brothers (Maynard and Blaise Plant) and two Japanese members (Tax and Dick).

Hey Mark,

As an electrician, you can make connections that others are likely to miss.
Using your job to navigate plot structure must be a huge advantage for you.
I have to bust out the Giant Corkboard of Doooom (tm) to do that.

New York is a great area to be in if you're not in L.A.
Lots of folks to connect with.
Best of luck with the contest, hope you make some noise!

Regards,
E.D.

Hey Mark, I assumed you had been around for a while as well. Haha

Welcome to the site we've been posting on for a while now!

E.D... Thanks a lot... New York can be a sweet place to place.

Gabe... No probs.. I sent you a pm

Jeff... Thanks for the comments... I see one of your scripts floating around the portal, a 7WC I think... must check it out.

Felipe... I did belong to this site for a short stint a few years back, then stopped writing for a while (lets just say, a lot of home improvement) but joined back in last summer and thanks to Jeff from a nice pm, helped me to find my way around this site and participate more.

Thank you, Mark.

Hopefully the Mods and Don both see this.  I'm not that much of an asshole...at least not all the time.

Mark, I'd love a read from you, if you're interested.  If so, PM me, and I'll E-Mail you the final draft...hmmm...why don't I just upload the final draft?  Probably should...and will.
