My name is Johnny and I've poked my head in the ol' SS every so often, it's a treat to be able to read the great work (or attempts) that I stumble into. I'm 31, I don't have any formal knowledge to writing screenplays with the exception of reading some of the reviews on the boards and watching a ton of TV and movies. I thought, what better way to break the ice than to write my first screenplay and become gratefully destroyed by SS community.
I don't have a big ego yet, so if you happen to come across my work in the next couple of days, please feel free to pull the trigger and unload your clip at it. I'm not trying to make it big or anything, it just felt great finally clearing my head. I look forward to discussing scripts!
You seem to have the right attitude which is read and review others and, when feedback is given on yours, be open to the feedback. Not all feedback is correct and you are free to disagree, but it's those that defend everything without bothering to listen to what is said, tend to gain less.
There are some decent threads on format etc but I find most of the interesting feedback is gained by reading the reviews given to a script you have also read. That way you can compare your thoughts with other.

Hope you enjoy it, and get the best out of what can be an excellent resource if used correctly. You've made a good start with a few reads I see and I'll be sure to check out your work.
