Hope you guys had a great 4th of July weekend.

I'm shamelessly bumping this up. Sorry.

I gotta whore myself a bit. Not going to go too extreme as spamming this whole site ( I love this site too much to be banned from it lol).

What is the Art of Persuasion? My interpretation of it is it's a 10 - 15 min short about a angel and demon battling over a soul during this shitty economy. At it's roots, it deals with a topic I've always been fascinated about (angels and demons) and a current subject (the economy).

The script has gone through many rewrites but, you can go to the original thread and read what people have said about it in the past. The good, the bad, and the medium. I feel that as donors you should know what you might be getting into. Click Here for those reviews: http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-short/m-1293061831/

Want to thank those who contributed thus far. Thanks.

Asking from the others to please contribute. I have the video pitch and Kickstarter link in my sig so you can check it out.

The amount you want to contribute I leave up to you. I'm not asking a lot.  But for those who can't contribute over $75 - $100:

You can get a copy of the short and a name in the credits for $25 - $49. I'll be happy with that. .  Yes, you're reading it right, I'm selling myself in the $25-$49 range. lol. But you'll get something out of it, a name in the credits. If I get any awards, be sure that I'll read those names out in my acceptance speech.

If you want something extra, $50 - $74 gets you the copy, a name in the credits, and a movie poster. This is the price of a video game. But that's up to you. I'm not pushing it.

If you can't contribute, spread the word.

Gabe

I've seen people get really surprised by how much work and money it takes to give those donors their gifts at the end of the campaign. Me personally, I don't mind a Special Thanks, but don't send me anything. The money is meant to go towards the film, not to give out gifts. At least not IMHO.

Good luck and hope you reach your goal.

[edit: can't believe I wrote donators!!!!!]

Thanks Pia

As you know, you can always count me in for a read.

I believe that what Mr. Taylor has set up for gifts are realistic for what we're working towards.

And depending on how this short does, it could lead to a possible sequel. That's if Mr. Taylor wants to pursue it and how this short does.

I'm crossing fingers, toes,... eyes, lol.

5 hours to go and the project is at 1,101 dollars.

I don't think it's going to make it to 4, 750.

With that, I'll like to thank those who contributed and spread the word.

I'll keep you updated on what happens next.
