A big thank you first of all to Don for setting me up with an account, thank you. I very much appreciate that.
I will keep this short guys as I am not the best writer when it comes to actually having to write about myself. I write for fun, for the passion of story telling, and for the love of movies and TV. My work is my personal journey through this life, and not a calling card for a career. This is not to say I don't respect the field or take writing seriously, I both respect and take it seriously. I write short stories, comic book scripts and screenplays (Very poorly I may add ) My passion is the written word and the ability to create a story and share that with other like minded people.
Welcome to SS, in fact there are a few Darren's around, a couple form the UK.
Not sure what you hope to gain from SS, for most it is the ability to post their work, but it is a great place and a great asset to use, if you go about it in the right way.
My tip, is read and review other scripts, especially the regulars, in that way you will get reads back and become part of the community.
Not sure if you know about the One Week Challenge, OWC, but that has just taken place and a few reads there is a good place to start.

I am just passionate about movies and writing, Bill. Whether it is a short story or a comic book script or a film/TV script. I would simply like to engage in the community, make a few friends along the way and share some of my work with others. As far as what I am looking from SS, I guess the community itself. There are not a lot of forums around catering to screenwriting, and any that exist don't feature half as much as SS.
Welcome aboard! I am a huge TV guy, I look forward to checking out some of your work. I've learned a lot from the site, and have a blast reading the scripts here. It's so amazing to see what some peeps will come up with next.
