I realized I never posted here. Thought I would let you guys know a little bit about me. Been a member here for a number of years but never really active part of the community, I plan to be one now.

I been writing since before I could write, I started out as a child drawing pictures for comic books and then dictating the story to my mom to write it for me since I couldnt spell at the time lol.

Started writing screenplays at 14, I have tons completed but I only really count 3 features as most everything else was really just practice. Also written a number of short stories and a few half completed novels.

I am now 24 and started my own production company D4G productions, currently in production on a web series and pre-production on a short film (my script The First Date) I have posted here.

Overall I am a movie lover and I love trying to help others achieve their goals, Thats why I love this site, even though it can be harsh at times its great to see a community trying to help one another get better.

Well enough about me, I look forward to getting to know you all better and read your work.

Welcome YBT. Hope you enjoy yourself. Been a bit busy with other things at the moment - 7OWC etc., however, I did read your 'First Date' short the other day. It was pretty funny and some good potential visuals with the brothers - casting is key, I reckon. Punchline needed to be a little snappier, if memory serves me right, but get that right, which shouldn't be too hard, and I think you could do well with that.

I think I have a thick skin but I am sure it will toughen up even more.

I cant make any promises about the drinking and typing, I have fallen victim to this in the past.

Thanks for the welcome and kind words about my short. Casting is what I am working on now and it is important, I am stressing making sure I get the right guys to play the brothers, thats gonna make or break this thing. I am thinking of ways to make the punchline at the end snappier, I am thinking it may play better live then it does on paper, I am gonna do a table read with some friends next week to see how it plays out.

It's fine to smoke weed and type though.
