Reef Dreamer - I have read a couple scripts here already, well what I could see before Don was nice enough to help me get an account. I'm a visual learner, so reading and reading will be helpful. I'm just not always good with "Replying" too used to the horror of social media and their 'likes'.
Max - Neighbours? I haven't watched that show since I was 18.
stevie - I'm from New South Wales. Tamworth to be exact, born and bred right here in the Country Music Capital
Dreamscale - Leery? Why?
LC - Just downloaded "trelby". Thank you so much for the tips. I've bookmarked all the other links so I can catch up with my reading and searching. So glad there are more Aussies here. I hate feeling like a fish out of water. Being an Aussie on Instagram is bad enough, I keep being asked to make videos of my voice.
dead by dawn - Thanks. I have the "story" written down, and the idea of the opening sequence. Though all the jargon that is used in scripts kinda sends me for six and I get confused. But I have only been actively focused on this for the last couple months. Before that I would always tell myself that I wasn't good enough to do it.
I think I got everyone... Thank you all for the kindness, the warm welcomes. I will take on everything that you have said.
Joking...just throwing some shit Stevie's way. He's a good guy as long as he keeps his comments on screenwriting, as opposed to his desires of young boys.

Ah hah, I see someone is a bit of a sh*t stirrer. Maybe it's a good thing this Dragon is female, she doesn't care about the lifestyle of men and their enjoyment of boys
Nothing wrong with being a noob. We all were once, life and blood of the site. Bear that in mind and fuck the regulars, aparft from me obviously. And maybe some of the ladies, as the lads can deal with it. Fuckers. (read Right Back you fuckers, yeah you, you fucker.)
Sorry about that, someone's gotta plug this stuff.
Erm, I seemed to have weaved my way into a sexist corner. So I shall say farewell for now lest it get worse,
Fen bruh, you need a comma in there mate, Dreamscale will tell you that too. That's one sentence with the 'if' in there, it should naturally follow on.
rendevous - It's all good, all the time. Chillax and let the creative juices flow man. That's what I am all about Fuckers come and go. Don't mean to rain on your fuckery parade, but I'll take any advise from anyone if they are willing to spare time to help me out.
Max - Are they tough nuts, super serious about the process or just mean to everyone who pops up?

I know, everyone's a critic.
And nah Dreamscale ain't a tough nut, he just gives stiff feedback (which he backs up of course, most of the time)
Everybody else has a bit more, lets say... warmth, but Dreamscale gives you the little gems I guess, I believe he said that once upon a time... about himself no less.
Don't take what any one person has to say as gospel, read some professional scripts, look around on different advice websites, get a few books by your side.
Max - I have a couple of movie scripts in my possession. I have Twilight and Superman Retuns. Though I know a lot of people will bash the shit out of those movies, I became somewhat friendly with the writers of SR while they were camped out in my home town.
I will gladly take criticism. Hell I just wrote something, not script worthy or anything just a piece for my "Soulless Dragon" story and I am thinking about deleting it cause I feel it's shit
Hey now, I can be very warm, friendly, and nice. I also tell it like it is and I do not sugar coat my words, because that doesn't help a writer ever...especially a new writer.
New writers need to learn the rights and wrongs as soon as possible, otherwise, they'll continue writing "incorrectly", because they simply don't know any better.
If someone tells a little kid that 4+5 = 10, and no one ever corrects them, they'll grow up believing that 4+5 does indeed = 10. Know what I'm saying?
I seem to catch a lot of shit during OWC's, because of the anonymity factor that others choose to use as a reason to be overly nice and complimentary, which I so disagree with.
Max and Dan can both attest to the time and effort I have given to both off the site, in hopes of helping and guiding them along, as they start the screenwriting journey. I used to charge for my services and still do at times, but for the most part, I do what I can pro bono, because I truly enjoy helping peeps.
