I'm still waiting to hear from R.E Freak and The Goose - but they are considering.

Well, since I'm paired with Shudder, how does this sound: If he decides to go with the second story, mine would follow the guards after leaving the prison, while his would follow the guards. They'd take an armored transport bus and try to escape the city, only to encounter a road block, at which point they are wiped out. Sort of a way to present both sides of the coin. The prisoners would turn the place into a fortess and maintain their own form of order, while the guards (the authority figures) are wiped out.

And just so everyone knows, I'll be offline most if not all of the rest of the week. If you need to tell me anything, just send me a PM and I'll read it as soon as I'm back.

Sounds great - I can't wait to read the draft.

I just began on an opening - sort of a ode to "Tales from the Crypt" it's incredibly gory but in a tongue-in-cheek fashion.

BTW - Does anyone have a suggestion for the name?

And in case anyone is curious - I was thinking that the dead could spew bile - sort of like Jeff Goldblum did in Cronenberg's "The Fly".

And the intelligence of the zombies depends on the state of decay.

So there would be both running and staggering zombies - depending on the state of decay.

For a title Bruce suggested
"Blood of the City"

Personally I think it'd make a good subtitle
I'm thinking the title could be one word.
Something omnimous and catchy.

I think that since the stories are now take place at the same time - this could become more of a collaberative effort then an anthology? The stories would stay the same - except they'd be going back and forth.
