I am seeking a professional quality, feature-length, horror script. My associates, and I are looking for an exciting piece, filled with an intriguing plot, many twists and turns, and, something extremely creepy containing plenty of gore to fill the screen.
We are an independent group that have plenty of experience in the film industry. We are willing to entertain most scripts, as long as they are formatted correctly, contain proper spelling and grammar, and feel professional.
While this will be a low budget production, don't let it influence your decision on sending us a script. Let us decide if a script is out of our league.
Writers should be open to changes. There is rarely a script that won't be changed throughout the production.
My Background: My last visit here got me connected with a SimplyScripts regular, Dogglebe, and the short film "For Entertainment Purposes Only". We had a very good production that has lead to a very professional looking piece which we hope to ship to festivals this September. A trailer of the film can be viewed here: http://www.dfazzio.com (a more professional looking site is in the works).
The short was shot in High Definition, had a moderate budget, and a professional crew.
My associates and I have worked on numerous feature length independent films and are now venturing into producing some of our own.
I've got a short film that I'm fixing to "adapt" into a feature length horror script. I can try to have that done quickly if you are interested enough to wait a little bit for it (1 month or so).
Just to let everyone know that, in my dealings with Dave, I found him to be very professional. And while you're all reading this, I'm sending him something.

We can wait as long as it takes to find a script we want to make. It could be as long as tomorrow, or 2 months from now.
I am partnered with a couple people, and the decision is ultimately up to them.
Thanks for all of the submissions thus far, and thanks, Phil, for the good feedback. (Composer is still slowing us down, might start talking to someone else soon about the score for FEPO (The Job)).
This sounds really interesting. I am definitely going to send something in though I'm only about 20 pages into it but I feel it's going to be something that you'll be very interested in. It's fit for low budget, gore, twists and turns and just plain entertainment.
My synopsis for it is in the Work In Progress section of SimplyScripts and it's called The Vent. I'm going to, not hurry with it, but I'm certainly going to focus on it now for sure.
