I've been hearing much was cut out of this film's original three-hour running time. I wanna see what everybody is raving about, but I cannot find the script anywhere. If anyone has it and could show it to me, I'd be grateful.

The movie was all visuals, not too much story.  I can'ty imagine they took out anything significant.

There's a story, but its excecution was crappy. I'd say I agree with you, but I can't help but be curious about it.

The video games were pretty intense.  I had the shit scared out of me playing SH2.

Yes. I think, overall, SH2 would be my favorite. It has a great atmosphere and storyline. James Sunderland was a huge step forward from Harry Mason (too flat to care about him IMO).

3 was good, but it had some cheesy parts, like Heather's 'smug' look when fighting that sewer monster. 4 was just okay as a SH installment, but it could've been a lot better.

I didn't enjoy Origins at all -- couldn't even finish it. Homecoming is all right in my book, despite a predictable twist -- I really liked it and the combat system was not as clumsy as before without turning into an all-out action-fest like Resident Evil 4.

lol. I just love how this spiraled off subject,

I remember playing the first game. It was at night, the lights were off and at some point I just had to stop playing - it was just too creepy.

Btw. have you asked Nik or Pia about the script, Julio?

I was playing SH2 and I had the curtains drawn and the lights out.  I was about 2/3 the way through the game had probably been playing it two or three hours at this one sitting.  I was completely engulfed in the game when my dog came up and licked my hand.

I screamed like a girl.

I know what you mean, Phil. I had to put on a Kenny Loggins CD to calm down.

Yeah...it was Footloose dammit

I don't think I've asked Pia or NiK yet, but I have nothing to trade the script for anyway.

The scariest moments in the games for me were the Otherworld "shifting" sequences -- except in Homecoming because they were done exactly like in the movie in that game.

Oh, and the mannequins thing in 3 was hella creepy.

Neither Pia or Nik have ever asked for anything in trade as far as I know.

The nurses in 2 were creepier.

I always thought the original game was the scariest and the sequels were crap.

I'm so exited! I'm reading it now!

Thanks, Sheridan; thanks. Don!

Actually, I can already tell they did. And I'm only 5 pages in. The script so far seems a little overwriten with "show" scenes, but so far it's decent.
