Is there a website, somewhere, that can tell me how many copies of a book were sold?  Or how many books a particular writer sold?

thank you.

The site shows where a book is ranked on Amazon.  Not sure what's a good ranking or not, though.

But as they themselves state, it is notoriously difficult to get exact and reliable figures.

Wikipedia has a pretty extensive list too.

Perhaps the publisher's web site might have those stats.
