Hi guys, i recently opened an account here to be able to get in touch with a writer as I truly loved a script and wanted to put it into production. But the writer hasn't replied and it worries me that the account is now inactive as the script was submitted in 2009. I have also tried searching the US copyright database and cannot find anything under his name despite the copyright information on the script. So many people on Facebook too, as you can see guys I am quite desperate haha. any other suggestions please?

You're kind of at the mercy of the Email address they posted on the script. If it's Cameron Mitchell, good luck. He was one of my favorite writers on these boards and none of us could track him down anymore. If it's just a short script that's not going to net you any profit, I would say go ahead and shoot it, just credit the writer. If it's a feature, then you need his/her consent. My two cents... James

Thanks a lot James, it's 95 page feature written by Tyler Jay. The address stamped on the script is of the Zhura script writing software office in Boston but I'm guessing it's just a watermark and the writer has no affiliation with them. Also Zhura is now inactive as they now collaborate with scribbed.

Sens a message to Don, the SS webmaster. He might be able to look back and see what info the writer provided when he posted the script here.

By the way @jwent6688 I love the short in your footer which I'm guessing ou wrote. Thank you Angry Bear I shall message him again tonight and CJ thank you for trying too, I get less hits on his full name than Tyler Jay.
