Thanks to all who voted for this. We’re happy you liked it. John and I had a blast writing together, especially when we’re killing each other’s ideas.
Just one thing I wanted to touch on, and that was the scene on the airplane where they extracted the chip from Arik. A lot of you didn’t like this scene, saying how it wasn’t logical to do it on an airplane. 100 percent right. That’s why we went with it. Taking out the chip at 30,000 feet just seemed far more entertaining as opposed to waiting until, say, they touched down. So that was our rationale. And if it stretches the suspension of disbelief that’s ok too. We’re dealing with a talking car that shoots missiles and shit.

Steve
Love that attitude.
Though it didn't quite gel together for me, the premise is strong and I'm glad it got the love it deserved. And whether it makes sense or not, that opening was a solid action set piece. Well done.
Steve and I were fartin around with the idea of collaborating on another project before this OWC hit, so I asked him if he wanted to try and take Knight Rider to the crib for some mugs. He had no f'ing clue about Knight Rider.
I believe if we elaborated on some of the plot it'd be more logical, although there's beats that were intentionally over-the-top. We wanted to bring it like that and for everyone who resonated with what we were going for, we're super stoked you enjoyed it.
So in the end, David Hasselhoff was supposed to be Michael's dad Wilton, who put his consciousness into KAMM to escape the villains but we didn't have time or page space to go there. We just wanted The Hoff in the show, but the theories that he's Michael Knight senior was a great idea too.
