I’m a little more than halfway done. Some impressive entries so far.  I will say I’m disappointed in the lack of Comments so far.  Don’t know if the page count is scaring readers off but you would think that at least all the participants would be commenting as well. Maybe some of the newbies don’t know about the quid pro quo system of reviews here.

Also, when does this end? I haven’t seen a countdown clock for reviews to be in so I’m guessing it goes through next week?

Gary

I distinctly remember: two weeks to write, two weeks to review.  Got another week to review I think, after this one.

I'm with ya, Gary. I'm about halfway as well and have been wondering when everyone else was going to start chiming in. Many of the reviews are from writers that had stated early on that they weren't participating too. Unless, of course, it was all a ploy...? Nah, no one here ever does that;)

I'm hoping to start reading again today and be through by the weekend. Some good stuff, so far. Let's get reviewing, writers!

Alas, I agree. I think there's three who haven't reviewed at all, but I'm not sure they realise they're supposed to. Kinda the usual jazz on that front unfortunately, but with even less reviews this time than normal

Gotta hand it to Chrisbodily and his painstakingly detailed reviews.

Love the pairing of dialog to song lyrics. Great entertainment! Cheers!

Thank you.

If anything in the script reminds me of a song (especially a good one), I cant help myself.

Uh oh.

Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch
You know that I love you
I can't help myself
I love you and nobody else

I'm actually surprised I'm this far along, considering...

1. I didn't know until Monday that the Blumhouse Halloween trailer would be dropping this Friday [June 8], with epic goodies and extras every day in the interim. As a result, Twitter and the Halloween message boards are in a frenzy. In fact, the official thread on OHMB balloons to at least 20 pages every day.

2. The special-effects makeup game show Face Off came back  this week for its (supposedly) final season.

So it's been a busy week. I'm so grateful we have two weeks to re/acquaint ourselves and then read hundreds of pages of scripts. If we only had one week, I probably would have withdrawn by now because I'm so tied up.

Sisters and brothers,

there are too few reviews going....My take: a lot of writers seem to be hurt by negative perception of their material. The writers gave it their all... Respect

Six more to go...

For the most part, I've been impressed with the posts and the overall quality of reviews. I think the comments from the last couple OWC's and WT about being swayed by previous reviews was taken to heart. I think most are commenting before reading other posts.

Back to it....

I personally think an SS mug is kudos enough...

Good to hear you're feeling better, Dan.

I didn't enter, but I've read a few. I was sick this week. Spent three days in bed with a high fever. I love my grandkids, but they sure are little germ factories.

Haha. I know what you mean. Those little poopers send me to flu-land whenever one of them has a cold. So, get well soon and thanks for participating without an entry in this race.

Hmm, possibly there's also little traffic because any talk here in the "chat" would end with breadcrumbs since every entry somehow has a individual topic this time... so we cannot really communicate and exchange about the writing process, concepts and so on.

I just hope that some writers aren't sad because of a negative critique and bail early from the challenge in front of these masses to read.

Soooooo....voting out soon. What's the protocol for voting for named author scripts where you know the writer has not written a single review???

Sorry to open that can of worms but the lack of reviews are starting to get to me.
