Seeing as this is actually a second part of an unfinished movie released a couple of months ago, I can't really complain about anything... if you like the first, than you'll really love the second.  All I can say is:

TARANTINO IS AN F'N GENIUS!  The fight scenes are fantastic, the 70's references are (as always) a real treat (just check out the scene involving the ancient Cantonese monk, Pai Mei).  While not as action-packed as the first volume, the "talking parts" will never leave you feeling bored.  This is because everything that is spoken is pure genius from the initial wedding scene to Bill's two extraodinary passages towards the end (one is about a goldfish symbolising death while the other, far more interesting one, is about Superman becoming Clark Kent... not the other way around like most superheroes).

All I can say is that you should enjoy this one pretty thoroughly.  My only real hiccup is Samuel L. Jackson, simply because he is not used to his proper, badass fulfillment... yet still, he makes for a solid badass, even as he is playing a church organ.

As for the fighting scenes that do show themselves, let me say that you will be absolutely floored.  Everything that you think you see coming is not... instead, the unexpected picks you up, and thoroughly kicks your ass for a solid minute.

Does anyone agree that the way Tarantino writes his scripts, makes it extremely easy to read? I didn't stall once while reading Kill Bill.

Man, Kill Bill Vol. 2 was so amazingly great.  The scripting in my opinion was just brilliant, especially in the final chapter, Face to Face; I loved that Superman analogy.  The fight with Darryl Hannah was just great, one of the funniest and most brutal fights I've ever seen.

I'd have to say my favorite chapter was "The Cruel Tutelage of Pai Mei", but the entire second half was a masterpiece.  I couldn't have asked for anything better in this movie.

I thought 17 years old is the youngest age a kid can be to get into R movies, or is it 18? Plus, is sneaking in hard at your movie theatre?

Well here they don't even let you buy an R DVD unless you're 18 and show them picture ID. As for sneaking in, well the theater is an hour away and I don't have my license (thanks to the *expletive* who did my drivers test). Alas.

Alas indeed...under our Canadian ratings system, anyone can get into Kill Bill as long as they have an adult!  Hee hee..

In America, a 17 yr old (could be 18, dont remember) can get into an R rated movie. Anyone under that has to be accompanied by someone of 21 years or older. So, technically, a 2 yr old can see Kill Bill if he/she wanted to, as long as their parents come along.

Being as I am 17, live in the US and get in to R rated movies with an ID, the age is 17.

Returning to the movie, I liked Kill Bill Vol. 1 a lot, and I liked Kill Bill Vol. 2 as well.  The feeling I got, though, was that either Kill Bill Vol. 2 was somewhat of a dissapointment or that it was entirely too different to be judged with its predecessor.  The dialogue was superb (ex: Bill- I'm just f#ckin' with ya.), but besides the excellent trailer fight scene the action was non-existant.  The end, though it fit perfectly, seems just a little anticlimactic compared to the battle with the Crazy 88s in the first one.  I think these movies should have been just one movie, but I respect them and enjoyed watching them.  Rarely have I gotten so excited over watching some movies.

It's true, if you read the script there is a ton of material that wasn't in either of the movies.  A lot of it was filmed and cut, as a matter of fact.

The best movie of the year?  So far I'd have to answer yes.

I was, at first, one of the many QT fans who questioned his decision to cut this movie into two parts.  It was probably one of the best things he could have done.  The two movies are so different, yet so brilliant in their own right, that they deserve to be seen separately.

I won't go into plot, cause I'm pretty sure everyone at this board is familiar with the story thus far, but if there is one thing I want to brag up it would be: the acting.  Uma Thurman really deserves an Oscar nomination for this movie.  She plays the Bride on so many levels and with so much emotion I never once saw Uma Thurman, I only saw *beep* (in case you haven't seen it yet...if so see it NOW). I'm also glad I knew little of David Caradine before seeing this movie, cause he wasn't an actor playing Bill, he was BILL.  I actually found myself being sympathetic for this clearly evil man, another Oscar worthy performance.

This shouldn't suggest the supporting cast wasn't great.  Michael Madsen was perfect as Budd, another character I ending up empathizing for; Darryl Hannah as the deliciously sinister Elle Driver; and the girl who played The Bride's daughter was cute as a button.

Is the second one better than the first?  I'd say so.  Some prefer the action packed Volume 1, but with the second volume we get to know the characters, characters who are all intersting and bring something unique to the party (so to speak).  The movie plays out like a great novel, with the final chapters coming out just the way you'd hope.

This movie really is a gem, from the dialogue, to the action, to the performances, to the brilliant cinematography.  A real winner in every respect, and the perfect finish to a destined to be cult classic.

This is the BEST movie of the year I can't see another movie coming out that will top it. It is so creative and inventive. The plot is great and the acting is amazing. I love the dialouge, it is very interesting. I really like the combination of the dialouge and the action. That is why I think it is better then Vol.1, even though Vol.1 is a masterpeice as well I prefer Vol.2 there is not one thing I can see wrong with it.
