Spoilers herein.

I don't know if I agree.  I like to think Windu would've pwned Palpatine if Anakin hadn't stepped in and acted like a little bitch.  I think Palpatine was pretty close to death if his face was becoming horribly disfigured.  Plus, Sam J can pwn anybody.

Although it's odd..Windu defeats Palpatine and Yoda loses to him?  Palpatine probably was faking.

Oh, and, low points:

-Obi-wan's lizard was lame and badly rendered.
-Yoda's battle with Palpatine was boring and anticlimactic, and it distracted from the best saber battle I've ever seen.
-Yoda really shouldn't say things like "Not if anything to say about it I have!"
-Closeups on Yoda, the CG was a bit weak.
-Lucas didn't bother to build a single piece of armor for the movie.  Maybe he should have.  Heads bobbing on CG armour don't look so good.
-Sure, it had to happen this way, but Obi-wan is in tears yelling that he loved Anakin like a brother, and then he leaves him limbless to burn to a slow horrible death on lava-blasted rock?  He would have finished him...

Ah well.  The movie was awesome.

Yoda didnt exactly "lose" to Palpatine, i forget exactly how it happened, but iremember thinking, "if yoda just went back up palpatine would be done for" ...i liked that fight myself. but maybe this: IF yoda really couldnt beat him, maybe it WAS just a charade with Windu and Palpatine, although I like to think windu had Palpatine right where he wanted him, too. Samuel L. Jackson is officially the coolest person to ever live.

-Obi-Wan's lizard WAS a little "iffy" but it didnt take away from the movie at all.
-It did interrupt the BEST by far saber battle, but I liked it nonetheless.
-Yoda rules, enough said.
-I remember thinking at least twice with Yoda close ups "wow, he looks stunningly real there!" ...I thought the CG used in this movie was a lot more believable then the other prequels.
- Yeah, I fully agree with you there. Why make the clone troopers CG? Stormtroopers were bad-ass as real people in the originals, why not make the clone troopers real?
- I thought the performance between the two on this part was amazing, it brought me to semi-tears. And like Obi-Wan said I think to Yoda, "I can not kill Anakin" ..he was hoping that the mass amount of flames on Anakin would kill him before he had to.

again, I love this movie. haha, i really cant stop saying that.

Well, my only reservation to the Emperor faking is the fact that he let his face get all burnt up.

yeah thats what i thought too, but of course, if he didnt plan this, why did he seem not to care whatsoever once it happened.

Same for anakin, dont you think hed be in at least a little pain after almost being burnt to death? He gets robotic limbs put on and the first thing he asks is "wheres padme?" ...come on, id be screaming at the pain.

Maybe anakins just stronger than me. hahaha

One thing I'll note is that the Episode 3 that Don mentioned some time ago as July 2003 draft or something like that does seem to be a bad retyping of the actual movie script including a lot of deleted stuff. This movie could have been 30 minutes longer easily. For instance, no talk of the Rebellion was in the movie, but it's all over that script. There is a sequence in the video game where Anakin and Obi-Wan end up in the ship's fuel chamber. This is not in the movie, but it is in that script.

Just thought I'd mention that. It's probably still under the movie board of the main site.

I wonder if those Jedi I seen at the theatre were fanboys, hmm... It's a little pathetic to wear a Jedi cloak and carry a childrens lightsaber (Purple) On the 4th day of release or so, these guys looked to be over 20.

All I'm saying is if they get beaten up they aren't very strong Jedi, where was the force when they needed it?

I think that just being dressed up and over the age of twenty is pathetic.

I was a geek and went to the 12:01 showing on May 19th (my ticket says 18th). I saw a couple Jedi and a Stormtrooper, but a friend of mine snapped a pic of a fat guy with a Darth Vader helmet and the color-changing red/blue lightsaber attacking some little 10-year-old dressed up like a Jedi. He was cringing behind his little kid lightsaber.

revenge of the sith was awesome. The two main light savers are red and blue you know.

See look at this

Episode 1: Red vs. blue. But he killed darth Maul with a green. So he never fighted with it.

Episode 2: Red vs. Green. Yoda and Dooku.

Episode 3: Blue vs. Blue. Hey it had to happen.

Episode 4: red vs. Blue.

Episode 5: red vs. Blue,

Episode 6: Red vs. Green.

So basically the main light savers is blue and red.

What am I working on?!?

lightsabers.... not light savers, and i wouldnt really look at them as the "main" lightsabers, just the ones who barely had more fights then the others

and the word would be "fought" not "fighted" im a stickler for these corrections, haha, sorry

Quoted from CoronaExtra04
So was Aniken Darth Vader? I heard he was. And does Natile Portman die? if these are true Im not seeing the movie someone please send me a pm letting my know

I'm sorry Corona, but you seriously need to watch the original trilogy. I thought everyone knew that Anakin was Vader and that Padme died.

anyway epsiode III is my second favorite Star Wars right behind Empire Strikes Back. The only thing was that there shouldve been some air battles! The entire new trilogy doesnt show any air battles except for that small air battle with anakin in the first one and the small battle in the third one. I want anothe r battle like the one in a new hope.

I used to wear Spiderman PJ's to bed every night, then I woke up one morning and said to myself "Self, your to old for this spiderman bull." So I went to target the next day and picked up some Wolverine PJs cause man, that guy stabs people. C. Walken
