Hello eveybody,

How are you? I recently, and FINALLY managed to get my hands on the Region 1 US Synapse Films DVD Version of Evil Dead Trap for a few days.

This version has some extras which I wish were on the R2 UK version. It has a audio interview with the Director TOSHIHARU IKEDA, and the special effects person. I don't know his name from the top of my head. Even though they are speaking in the worst English you could imagine, you can just understand what they are saying.

Another cool thing that it had the 8 seconds which were cut from the UK version. Nothing sooo cool really. The BBFC are so dumb. Cutting some scenes of soemthing that doesn't even have an effect on the film, but not cutting any parts from a pretty long rape scene.

The subtitles were clear and I think, they were all correct. The subtitles on the UK version were White, and sometimes Blue, and they usually had grammatical or spelling errors in them.

Sadly, this version was not ANAMORPHIC WIDESCREEN, unlike the UK version, but the picture was nice and clear anyway.

All people from the UK, if you want the uncut version, goto eBay and pick it up.

I give this a DVD rating of 8/10.

That's all,

Curse!
