Does anyone have any predictions for the much anticipated sequel to Zeitgeist?
The first one was a massive infogasm -- will the second one also be something worth nerding out to? Hopefully. Icke's new 4 DVD set "Beyond The Cutting Edge" keeps crowds on the edge of their seats for eight hours, and it presents the same genre of info, so I assume the new Zeitgeist -- at only two hours -- will be able to keep the info coming at a good pace like the first one. That's my prediction. I want to know what everyone else thinks.

I have a list of documentary films that I love which I'm curious to know what other SS intellectuals think about them. A lot of these are available on DVD, but many of the filmmakers are glad that online copies are available ... because money isn't their primary interest, and that's one of the reasons why these films rock so awesomely.

ZEITGEIST http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ Every freshman in College should be shown this movie! it would help to turn humanity into more reasonable, rational individuals, less affected by outdated myths, and corrupt politics! Definitely the defining documentary of the age!
HACKING DEMOCRACY http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4762159260759486531& HACKING DEMOCRACY shows proof that the American Republican Party paid Diebold (the manufacturer of the voting equipment) to allow them to install a virus into the memory cards. The virus was an executable file that re-arranged the votes so that Bush would win both times. The documentary also shows proof that the people in the government (who benefitted from the rigged elections) do everything they can to suppress this information.

Regardless, this is an important three hour lecture.
A documentary called AMERICA: FREEDOM TO FASCISM was made by Aaron Russo, who has previously won a Grammy, a Tony, and an Emmy, throughout his career. And he has made films that won three Golden Globes, and his films have been nominated for six Academy Awards, also known as Oscars. Russo is a recognized and qualified documentarian, and he died while trying to release this film that reveals, among other things, that NAZIs have been hiding and plotting and are trying to take over the USA. Well that is an amazing set of Documentaries to be watching, all of them clearly among the most important social commentaries of the 21st century so far.
I am lucky enough to have seen them all, You see my sister works in the local Mental Institution and they are always showing these movies in the "special" wing. Sometimes I go along to watch them as my local cinema's will not show films as cutting edge as these.
I have had to stop going however as I have been creating a fuss. It seems many of the patients in the "special" wing have been taking these films far too seriously and have got it into their heads that I am a lizard, sent from the stars to save them from hell. They have built a shrine to me and everything, one of them even made a statue of me out of mashed potato!!
The hospital have come to realize that as important these works of art are they probably should not be shown to certain patients as they for some reason actually believe them to be real documentaries and not just paranoid junk from the minds of madmen.
-It will titled "The Revolution is Now". -It will premiere at the 5th Annual Artivist's Film Festival in Los Angeles, California on October 2, 2008. -It will address "the true source of the instability in our society, while offering the only fundamental, long term solution."
I don't know about Icke-- I think I've just heard he's a crackpot, but don't discount all UFO info as being crackpot.
There's a gentleman who lives in Big Valley and he was a fighter pilot in the war. A write up was done on him in a local paper. I know he's not a crackpot-- just an old timer with an interesting story to tell.
Mr. Reischman says he's seen flying saucers. In one encounter, ground radar operators steered them away. He said, "You would get close to it...and they would say, 'Break off, you can't go near that one.'"
He's not alone in his sightings. The National Aviation Reporting Center on anomalous phenomena documents 3,500 sightings from military, civilian and commercial pilots, reported since the beginning of powered flight.
Now granted, many of the sightings are probably just that-- unidentified, but not actual saucer craft, but when a pilot sees it up close and personal, you have to wonder.
It's possible too that the saucer craft is "our" technology, but it's been hidden.
My husband knows personally of two friends from Vancouver who purposely went down to check out Area 51 and indeed, they were turned back-- couldn't get near the place.
Sometimes you just get people trying to sell conspiracy theory ideas, but I know too that a lot of strange things do happen in this world; so I don't just automatically discount everything I hear either.

I will certainly look for it. It sounds interesting.
Chris Everard's docs are free online. His web-site has a copyright notice and a statement against piracy; however, I know for a fact that he is glad that these videos were uploaded, and he will never report them.
My wife was doing a course at school and they went on a field trip to a mosk and the tour guide gave everyone in the class a Quran and a copy of The Loose Change DVD. I watched it and found some of it interesting but I also found a lot of it very unbelievable. I understand that there have been a number of different versions of Loose Change released because people keep debunking the things it says, so the makers have to keep editing it and then re-releasing it. As for The Global Warming Swindle, I watched it awhile back when I was going through a phase of researching the subject and that failed to convince that global warming isn’t man made. The evidence suggesting that global warming is man made is irrefutable from what I've read.
If you want to see some good documentaries, I suggest "The Root of All Evil" featuring Richard Dawkins. Or "Waco: The Rules of Engagement."
I read in the Swedish news today about global warming and the media.
They were quoting things from the news, things like "the arctic ice cap is melting. The Arctic will be open water. The last few years warmer winters prove that a global climatic change is happening" and so on and so on.
The interesting thing revealed at the end of the article was that all those quotes were from the news in 1922!!!

As far as Swedes and their news go, they're not exactly like some fringe country that spew random stuff for ratings sake. They are very science based people/country.

Upon reflection, Mike, you're probably right to some degree. While I don't post exclusively on the contentious threads (I do talk about other stuff too) I do engage mainly in chat related stuff and my time would be better spent writing reviews or engaging more in discussions about the craft of writing. Not to mention writing itself. I need to be more focused. I'm sick of discussing religion and politics. Anyway, if I was serious about those topics there're probably more appropriate sites than SS for discussing them. Point taken.

That's the best way to research. Every time they knock out something that's proven wrong, they've gotten so much new information between the releases that their newer release makes a stronger case. The first release provoked a debate, and the debate revealed a lot of new info, and the "Final Cut" makes a very strong case.

A majority of scientists believe that global warming is caused by 187 year sunspot cycles. Limiting carbon emissions is still a good idea because of the health problems it would solve. Well, there's a difference between "pollution" and "carbon emissions." But both cause problems for lungs.

Look at the work of Maurice Cotterell. Gore's movie won a Nobel Prize, so most folks take it as gospel truth that carbon emissions cause global warming. The Nobel institution, like any institution, has its flaws and makes mistakes. Gore's movie is propaganda in support of an agenda. And it goes against the hard science.
The politicians will tell you that C02 levels drive the earth's temperature, whereas what's closer to the truth is that earth's temperatures drive C02 levels.
The scientists leading the CO2 hysteria have spent the majority of their careers promoting said hysteria. If the CO2 contribution is discovered to be of minimal contribution, they lose not only their funding, but any shred of credibility they may have had.
Then ignore it and let the people who know the topic discuss the topic.
I'm glad that he pointed out that the quotes were from 1922. He made a great point by posting that. Carbon emissions actually do more to cool the atmosphere than to warm it, so the dogma they're spewing currently was believed to be true in 1922.

You need to be informed before you can write literature of any merit. These types of documentaries helped me write many of my scripts. Threads sharing information sources are the whole point of places where writers gather for discussion.

The topic of this thread is that I would like to see some fair reviews of those films on SS. One of those documentaries -- SECRET SPACE 2 -- does cover the reptilian topic. Oh ... FREEDOM ROAD covers it better. I believe what Icke says about Reptilians. He makes a solid case. Really stop and think about what those facts mean. You can find video evidence of all of those facts in the films I've posted links to. Stop and think about what those things mean, and what those things will mean to your future children. And then think about what you're doing when you post a pwnage video in a thread where someone's trying to educate folks about these documentaries that reveal those facts.

I was not mocking anyone. It was a simple statement made without any judgemental pretext. If you took it as mocking, then perhaps you need to re-evaluate some of the tenents of these hypotheses within a broader context.

What I (and Mike) meant by "hating" these threads is how they spin off-topic with real or perceived personal attacks and defensive responses.
So you should not take that as a personal attack, either.
But the point is we have to waste our time reading the whole thread -- which we did not even want to read in the first place -- and decide to delete piecemeal or delete the whole thing or whatever. And then some people get mad about getting deleted.

Actually, you're onto something. Had you posted a train wreck and blamed it on a country that you wanted to attack, that would be a good example of "false flag."
A "false flag" operation is when a country pretends to be attacked by another country in order to fabricate justification to attack that other country.
International law makes it illegal to start a war of aggression, so "False Flag" was done on 9/11.

Fear makes it impossible to focus? So how do you explain the thousands of films produced during the cold war with the fear of nuclear holocaust hanging in the air?
I guess by your selfstyled defintions, there has never been an paranoid book, lyric, film or speech, because all these things require "focus" and that's something you just defined paranoid people can't possibly have.

The cause of these problems is the portal button. Without it, people would just navigate to the thread they're interested in. With it, people just navigate to the most recent thread, so you get all these off-topic posts by people who don't even intend to see the films that are the topic of the thread. Much of what was said in this thread provokes me to speak on those topics, particularly a rudely context'd mention of a work that took many years which is very dear to me. But those many various topics shouldn't have even been mentioned in a thread about a different topic. Whatever you want to talk about, start threads about those things, and then wait however long it takes for someone else who wants to talk about it to show up. If you see a thread that deals with films that you don't intend to see, walk away and post in a thread that deals with things that you're interested in. Why can't this thread just sit here until someone who might be interested in these topics shows up and says something intelligent? There's no reason for anyone who isn't interested in these topics to even look at this thread beyond the first message to see what it's about. Why can't the thread just linger for however long it takes before someone who has something on-topic to say can come here and contribute to the topic? It's because of the portal button. On forums that don't have it, people navigate to their topic of interest, so more people and interests can be accommodated for. No one who has interest in the films that this thread mentions gives a damn that Shelton hates these types of threads, for example. If someone posted a fair review of one of these movies, thus spawning a healthy debate, would shelton come in there and say he hates those types of threads? If you would kindly look at when I commented, you'll notice that I didn't say anything until things started to get a little too heated for my tastes. I could care less about your interest in documentaries, Icke, and the like. What I do care about is seeing things go off track.
P.S. - The portal button was forced upon us by the government.
You've posted a couple of threads asking "Has anyone reviewed this or that". All you had to do to get an answer to those questions was to do a simple search (and being the good and non-instigating member that you are, you of course did precisely that). So, knowing full well that no one had reviewed the "movies" in question, why did you post those threads? Why did you feel it was necessary to clog up the boards?
And here's another logical fallacy:
Post hoc, ergo propter hoc (after this, therefore because of this)...this thread sucks, Alan posted it, therefore Alan sucks.

The cause of these problems is the portal button. Without it, people would just navigate to the thread they're interested in. With it, people just navigate to the most recent thread, so you get all these off-topic posts by people who don't even intend to see the films that are the topic of the thread. Much of what was said in this thread provokes me to speak on those topics, particularly a rudely context'd mention of a work that took many years which is very dear to me. But those many various topics shouldn't have even been mentioned in a thread about a different topic. Whatever you want to talk about, start threads about those things, and then wait however long it takes for someone else who wants to talk about it to show up. If you see a thread that deals with films that you don't intend to see, walk away and post in a thread that deals with things that you're interested in. Why can't this thread just sit here until someone who might be interested in these topics shows up and says something intelligent? There's no reason for anyone who isn't interested in these topics to even look at this thread beyond the first message to see what it's about. Why can't the thread just linger for however long it takes before someone who has something on-topic to say can come here and contribute to the topic? It's because of the portal button. On forums that don't have it, people navigate to their topic of interest, so more people and interests can be accommodated for. No one who has interest in the films that this thread mentions gives a damn that Shelton hates these types of threads, for example. If someone posted a fair review of one of these movies, thus spawning a healthy debate, would shelton come in there and say he hates those types of threads? I had always thought of him as a fairly harmless man who had obviously had some kind of mental breakdown. However, when he suggested in his book "And the truth will set you free" that the Holocaust was financed and arranged by the Global Elite then I changed my assessment of him to a probably quite dangerous nutter.

Loose Change is a perfect example of the bullshit. The producers are first time film makers who, prior to 9/11 were looking to make a thriller involving the World Trade Center. Their movie was returned to the production each time it left it because of all the mistakes they put in it.

The Richard Baker video was high quality and it was from a network news site. The Richard Baker photo also was high quality and not on "youtube". The Michael Moore film SLACKER UPRISING has those same eyes in Bush Sr, and I was watching it in high resolution. Plus, the eyes are not always that way. What Icke refers to as "shapeshifting" in his books is actually clarified in those same books to be a generalized term to describe the appearance of a phenomena that is not a shift in shape at all; it's a shift in what can be perceived. It's dimension-shifting which gives the appearance of shape-shifting. There is a whole spectrum of dimensions in any space.
Icke believes that reptilians work from a thing he calls the "lower fourth dimension". I'm still not sure what you guys are talking about with regards to subliminals.
If you're implying that there are subliminal messages in the audio, that's entirely possible. There's a spectrum of sounds, and only a small percent of that spectrum are sounds that we can hear.
But as I was talking about multidimensional reptilians, I want to talk about another sort of spectrum. Visible light -- what people can see -- is 0.005% of what is in the universe. 99.99% of what is around you cannot be seen by your eyes. Sometimes the frequency of something will lower to a point where you can see it. Sometimes your eyes/brain -- or soul -- will tune to a higher frequency so that you can see it. Sometimes you'll meet it in the middle. What is it? It could be anything. Within the 99.99% of what we can't see could be entire civilizations of intelligent beings who cannot see us, and they could be taking up the exact same space as we do, walking through us unknowing of us, as we walk through them unknowing of them. Afterall, the energy surrounding an atom only combines with other atoms that are surrounded by energy of the same frequency, only seems like solid matter to other atoms of the same vibrational frequency. So atoms of different frequencies pass through eachother all the time. Turn the radio dial just a bit and you may just have a world that's populated by bipedal reptiles ... and they may have discovered us before we discovered them. Whether this is the explanation or not does not contradict the possibility. What I've described is possible; therefore if someone claims to be a witness of it, that person should be taken seriously. The authors I've listed earlier cite sources who claim to be witnesses, and some of the authors claim to be witnesses. If what they claim is within the realm of possibility -- and it is, because all things are possible -- then when they claim that reptoids are in control of gov't, those claims should be taken as serious allegations, and looked into with a proper investigation.

For those who don't know what Astrotheology is, here's the gist: thousands of years ago in Babylon, a myth was written about Nimrod/Tammuz. Then Jesus showed up, and his life was very much like how the Muslims say it was, but Roman Politicians Lucious Calpurnius Piso and Arrius Calpurnius Piso, etc, were threatened by the strength of his message, so they conspired to write an "official version" of his life, which they called The New Testament. The official version uses all of the Astrotheology elements that were made as a control mechanism in Babylon, whereas his actual life story was a lot closer to the way his life is described in The Qu'Ran. (No, I'm not religious, I'm just stating the facts.) The problem is that there are films that begin to touch upon this shaky slope ... zeitgeist scratches the surface. And whenever a film touches upon this topic, the film is swept under the rug and ignored ... people look the other way. In my mind, that reaction is because of CONTROVERSY. I just need to clarify something. Icke's stance on the reptilians is that certain fraternal ceremonies in the upper echelon of the secret society network are in place to connect members of aristocratic bloodlines with entities who exist in an interspace between the physical and spirit realms, reptilian entities who help these people to be more cold and calculating. It's an occult sacrament akin to a religious sacrament. The very rich do a lot of very weird things, and that's one of them. Whether it's real reptilian entities or just a ceremonial way to get easier access to the r-complex in the brain, the system is set up so that people can't get to the upper echelons of political power without passing through these traditional ceremonies. And we've gotta ask ourselves if we want leaders who have passed through these ceremonies. If not, Americans have to vote for a third party candidate like Nader.
I know you've taken a lot of abuse in this thread, but please let me say:
Whatever exists in "other dimensions" and many of us do believe in other dimensions, (read Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edward Abbott and watch Cosmos with Carl Sagan hosting) we shouldn't obsess over what is beyond us. We should only do what we feel is in our power to change. Eg:
I didn't want my kids growing up in the public school system; so, since I had the ability to teach them myself and integrate them into society through other means, such as Cadets, working at the library, and other recreational programs, that's what I did.
None of us have control over the "big world", but we do have control over our small world. No matter what our circumstances may be, we can try and respect ourselves and the world.

The purpose of this post here is not to scoff at you as many are doing. Scoffing is kind of the opposite of "fear mongering" where, for example: they captured anyone who had knowledge and skills in herbology and labeled them as witches.

David Icke always says that he wishes he wasn't the guy who stumbled upon the reptilian story. He always hates breaching that topic because of the ridicule that subjects him to, but he breaches the topic anyway because that's where the information has lead him over his thirty years of research and forty five countries of travel. Paradigms can shift, and if more research negates the reptilian story, the discoveries he'd make after that negation could not be made unless he crosses the bridge of the reptilian story. His honesty and sincerity is something that L Ron Hubbard never had. And if Icke stumbled upon information that suggests that the preposterous story that L Ron Hubbard tries to sell is true, Icke would probably quit because that Scientology crap is far too weird.
