This is a good disaster flick. It's better than "War Of The Worlds". It isn't very cheesy, it's well acted, and it has a surprisingly good message. That said, the movie is weirdly unspectacular.

The effects are "okay", but not really up to par with other block-busters.

It's very story driven. This will probably turn off viewers looking forward to mindless popcorn flick. There is action, but it takes a back seat to the characters and the story.

Sadly I think this is the type of movie that will be forgotten by next year. This is a shame, because like I said it is good. You get the feeling the people involved really wanted to make a good disaster flick.

Also, Reeves gives the best performance of his career. Yes, he plays an emotionless alien. However, this is one movie were he can get away with having one expression pasted on his face for the entire show.

Jaden Smith gives the best performance in the film. He's such a promising young actor and I'm really looking foward to seeing what he does next.

I recommend it. I think you may like it, just not for the reasons you'd expect to.

8 out of 10

True this movie was quite forgettable. I thought Jaden's character was annoying but he did a good job.

I give this film a 6/10.

Like Zack said.  It's very story driven.  The ending feels like it ends all of a sudden.

As for Keanu's one face fits all.  This film was perfect for him as no emotion's required.  And so it was no surprise he did a good job.

It's not worth going to the cinema for but to wait till it comes on tv.

Keanu was perfect, and you are right, no emotion is required since he is after all playing an alien. I gave it a weak 7 out 10

Isle 10- A series I'm currently writing with my friend Adam and it will go into production soon. Think The Office meets 10 Items or Less.
