Did anyone see this 'House' Finale episode? Man what a twist!

House has lost his mind. Spooky!

I was forced into watching, yes... Was it a Twist? Not really... It's been going on from what I've gathered the last few episodes I've seen. David Lynch should seriously check into the writers on staff, though. Seriously, cos that entire last bit was ripped right out of his own idea log.  Well, I thought so anyways.

To me, a perfect way to end the series would be just like it is. Leave the series as it is and don't bring it back. That'd be an amazing way to end a show. LEave everyone with that and nothing else. Him looking out at Willson as the door closes on him in the nut house.

You couldn't ask for a better way to wrap up a series based on his inability to be human. Too many times I see TV shows go on for far too long. Now, granted, I've never been a huge fan of House and have only seen the shows my wife makes me watch... but I've gathered a great deal from them.  End the show and leave on a high note.  Don't pull a SCRUBS on us. Don't pull a Seinfeld on us... Those 2 shows were brilliant and then ultimatley let us down in the end with directions that were predictable and at all otherwise not worth the wait.

House has only been running five seasons. It's too early to closeup shop.
Was the twist familiar? The sixth sence came to mind but no one owns the rights to a twist and the job was brilliantly executed.

What you are inadvertantly saying is that this was done very well(otherwise you wouldn't suggest they end the show "on top"). Not all long running shows go the way of SCRUBS. Some add extra layers and elements that gives them a fresh feel. Scrubs didn't do that. I love how House usually end a season-- with a complete threat of change. Not even the story driver is safe.

I think the next season might see a sort of what's real/ what's not storyline.

I think it was written very well and I think, absurdly cheese ball moments aside, all the actors do a good job on the show. I don't like how in every episode there are 3 or 4 scripted events that send the patient deeper and deeper into regretion. It's so lame. It's predictable and you just know it's going to happen again and again. Everytime I see an episode I know the patient will

1 - Be living normal everyday life
2 - Get deathly sick
3 - Show up in House's facility
4 - Respond well to treatment
5 - Be fine as gum drops and sour wine and then take a sharp turn for the worse
6 - He'll be diagnosed 50 different ways - all of which are wrong -
7 - He/she gets worse than they were when they came in
8 - House finds the cause to their problem in his day to day doings
9 - He saves the day at the last second
10 - Everyone praises him. He limps away with a smirk on his face.

and finally --

11. In every episode... not just 1 or 2 or 4 or 5... but EVERY damn episode they bring up sarcoidosis and it never turns out to be it. I've never seen 1 episode where that was ever the cause. EVER! I want 1 show to actually be resolved in the offset and then move onto House and his problems.

Anyways, those problems aside... I've nothing against the show. I just am not the biggest fan of it. I've seen better shows, I guess is what I'm saying. Then again, I'm also under the impression they have way too many doctor shows on TV.

lol, yeah the patients situation usually hit all those beats in that same manner. fortunately they also have the side stories to keep things interesting. and you're right about the sarcoidosis too! LOL!

Sounds like you should write a spec episode and send it in. Could really work in getting u noticed...

A number of patients have died on this show, which leaves you more on the edge of your seat.  In my opinion, this show has incredible story arcs and is second to none when it comes to mind games.

House, the character, is a sociopath but he's a good sociopath.  He's on our side, but he doesn't like us.

In regards the season finale, I thought it was incredible.  Hopefully, House's insanity will continue far into next season.
