Hey guys, this movie is insanely FUNNY. It is hilarious and pretty much keeps you laughing the whole way through, even what happens in the end credits are funny.

8.5/10

Isle 10- A series I'm currently writing with my friend Adam and it will go into production soon. Think The Office meets 10 Items or Less.

I managed to get two advance screening tickets FOR FREE for this, so I'll be seeing it on Tuesday.

Somehow I think I'm more likely to like it since it's costing me exactly 0p to go!

Guess who's back? Back again?

I saw a trailer for this the other day and it looks really funny, I was hoping all the laughes weren't just in the trailer.  I'm guessing from your favourable review there are plenty more. Still a week to wait.

There are a lot more, but I wish they hadn't shown some of the parts in the trailer, it made those moments a little less funny, if they hadn't it would have been 5 times funnier, like the baby and the car door part, which was hilarious, but still.

I'm interested in seeing this, but I'd like to know how it compared to the other Todd Phillips films.

Those being:

Road Trip
Old School
Starsky and Hutch
School for Scoundrels

It's better that "Starsky and Hutch" and "School for Scoundrels", and about on par with the other two.

Well, saw it last night for free - spotted the offer in my girlfriend's copy of Heat, if you must know - and it was fine. As I say, it's hard to criticize a film that you saw for absolutely nothing!

It wasn't great, but it was by no means awful, either. When I saw the trailer, the premise - three guys away on a stag weekend wake up in a trashed Las Vegas penthouse with no memory of what happened the night before, and realise the groom is missing with 48 hours to go till the ceremony - intrigued me. I'd have to say that the premise is the best bit about this movie; it isn't 100% successful in the execution.

It's a bit uneven. It tries to pummel you into submission by firing jokes at you non-stop, regardless of whether they're funny or not. Some were genuinely funny, but the strike-rate wasn't all that high. Mike Tyson had a nice role. The credits, I agree, were very, very clever - don't remember seeing that before, and no-one left until they were over, which was also new!

So yeah, it was fine.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Watched this tonight, it was pretty decent. Nothing that will be remembered for too long but I can think of many worse ways to spend two hours, especially since we tried a new cinema that opened nearby and lets you take a bottle of wine into the cinema with you, what a very civilized way to watch a film.

As someone who has had a stag night in Vegas it worked for me, Brought back some memories Haha.

I laughed my tits off at the little naked asian guy, best bit of the film me thinks.

Not sure if you all know this or not but a sequel for "The Hangover" was green-lit way back when the trailer was initially released.

I have yet to see the film but it seems like it'd be grasping at straws to make a sequel from this concept.  What do those of you who've seen it think?

Apparently it's a prequel that will go into greater detail of what exactly happened the night before.

Is that a good thing?  I thought a lot of the comedy was in the mystery.

I personally don't think a sequel should be made. The movie dosen't have a second story to tell.

Thank you Zack, I thought I was alone. This one was hilarious, I'm a little nervous for a sequel/prequel

Quoted from Bradley Cooper about the sequel

"We’ll probably lose Doug again. I hope we lose Doug again. That’d be fun."

So....the exact same movie?

I agree as much as I loved this one, I'm very cautious about a sequel. It just....it just doesn't sound like a good idea

Saw this the other day. Way better than expected. Pretty much made for people who drink in excess and find their memories to be fragmented the next day. The greatest thing about the movie was how the night before was something these guys were never gonna get back, which is why a prequel would completely kill it. It just wouldn't be able to leave up to the credits. Besides, you learn quite a bit about what happens.

Some of the jokes shot for the lowest common denominator (e.g. the Asian guy and the old guy at the hospital) but others were great. Zack Galifinakis stold the show as he brought probably the most bizarre and original brand of comedy to the table. Cooper and Helms were also great in their own rights. Overall, pretty funny.

I saw this Sunday.  Although I defintely didn' dislike it or anything like that, I was far from impressed. To think that this has already grossed over $265 Million WW, is literally shocking.

I think the movie was well done, well acted, and well put together, but nothing really that different from countless others like it, over the years.  Budgted at $35 Million, this seems like a big risk, especially with the complete lack of star power (I only recognized Heather Graham and Iron Mike).  Why everyone is so enamored with this flick is totally beyond me.

Yeah, I laughed, yeah, I thought it was engaging, and yeah, I was quite shocked by some of the stills during the credits, but when you think back about it, is it something you'd want to see again?  I wouldn't.

Oh well, congrats to the producers here...they scored 1 of the biggest movie successes of all time. as this will go on to gross over $300 Million on a $35 Million budget.  Nothing wrong with a little 10 times your investment.

It was funny...I laughed many times.  For a comedy, I thought it was pretty good.

My point is that this movie is going to gross over $300 Million WW!  That's crazy for this sort of movie.  I'm shocked it's so popular and critically, so well reviewed, cause it's really justa  simple little, zany Vegas romp, raunchy comedy.

Part of it was just good timing. Nobody, including the studios, expected it to do as well as it did considering it was opening against Will Ferrell and Land of the Lost. But since that movie got such bad reviews and the ads for the Hangover just looked so much better, everything worked out well in the end.

Plus Old School is insanely popular amongst college students, probably even more than 40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad. Todd Phillips' name would also certainly go a long way.

Not a laugh a minute but pretty good all the same.  I would recommend this film too.

Small spoilers

I loved the moment when the valet person brought the police car.  That really grabbed my attention.

I liked the fact that nobody could remember anything and they had to retrace their steps.

Just before posting my own thought, I have to say these comments are pretty on the money:

Definitely the target market, and let's be fair, most people can relate to this.

Absolutely. The number of people who still yell: "You're my boy, Blue".

This was a decent film. I mean, I can see why it has been so popular. The premise was a little too "Very Bad Things" for me, minus the dark element.

It entertained me, and prompted a few big laughs - the Chinese gangster being my highlight.

Ultimately, this is a money vehicle that has/will give many people a great night, so power to all involved.
