Anybody else watched this? I watched this in two sittings because I had to go somewhere, and I was so disappointed in the first half hour, I was not going to bother with the rest of it. I'm glad I did. This was probably the most entertaining slasher I've seen in years, from Britain or anywhere.

Set in an English school, a bullied teenager who committed suicide comes back from the dead seeking revenge on the pupils responsible. Nothing new at all here, yet it still works. For the first half hour I was asking myself all sorts of questions. Why are they making the lead character unlikeable by having her ignore her real friends to hang out with the popular girls? Why would the popular guy go for her in the first place? Some of the things happening were so unbelievable but I got through it.

When I finally sat down to watch the rest, I was glued. The one-liners were coming thick and fast (there's a LOT), the deaths were as gory as you could hope for, it flew by. Some of the things happening were so outrageous, imagine a policewoman saying to another officer that she had found a full condom, then imagine what the worst possible definition of a full condom is, before she lifts it up and shows it to the stunned officer!

Can't really say much about the characters, most of the girls were bitches, some were nerds who watch Keira Knightley films, some were goths who talk about death, all the usual cliches. No real big stars to speak of.

I remember when I uploaded my script, everyone commented that the school should be closed earlier when the murders start happening as this would happen in real life. In this, a number of murders have already taken place in the school, yet the head teacher only ponders on whether to give them the last few hours off to get their head around it. That's when I realised believable things are not going to happen as the movies about a zombie pupil killing people and should be treated as such. It was so much more enjoyable when I came to that conclusion.

Very solid attempt here. Brit horror is not really my thing but this was, I'd watch it again in a heartbeat. Watch if you like Brit horrors or slashers in general, or if you'd like to see April Pearson from Skins spend the whole movie in a school skirt that barely covers her a*se.

I found a link to a downloadable PDF of the script with colour screenshots of the movie and storyboard drawings.
