just saw brothers this friday, and really enjoyed it! the acting is one reason alone to go see this, everyone including the kids do an amazing job! i never really took tobey maguire too seriously as i always picture him as spiderman, but he got really into his role and did a great job with his character. it's weird but i found that tobey maguire and jake gyllenhaal really looked like brothers, maybe it's just me but the casting was perfect in this movie! i'm a big natalie portman fan so i'm a little biased but i think anyone could say she did an excellent job with her role and is definitely easy on the eyes! my only complaint is i feel that this movie was such a buildup and got pretty intense in the final scenes but could of benefited with more of a finale, it seemed a little short. if you're planning a trip to the movies anytime soon i'd suggest this one, it's one of the better movies i've seen in theaters lately, might leave you a little depressed afterwards but its a well done movie!
