Another Hong Kong Horror.

A girl receives cornea transplants and she can see.  She has trouble adjusting to her new sight but not just because of the change from being blind, but because she sees things no one else can see.   Ghost s and reapers that hide out of focus.  She seeks the source of her corneas, in Thailand, only to find incredible tragedy.

There's a couple of really good jumps in this and the story is interesting enough to keep you watching, especially the stuff in Thailand.  It does get a bit drama-y in parts and sometimes the believability is suspect but other than that I don't really have much to say that is negative about the film.  It isn't an outstanding movie, but it's well made and pretty much delivers what you would expect from it.

I'm going to recommend it.

Is this a remake of the same film that The Eye was a remake of here in the US, or is this the original source material? I mean, this is the exact plot of The Eye that had Jessica Alba. Also, not a horrible movie, but not an outstanding one either.

I did appreciate the twist as to what she was seeing throughout the movie.

This is the original version.  As well as the American version there is a Japanese version.
