Looked for a thread on this but couldn't find one. Anyone else seen this?

Interesting film, particularly from a writing point of view. The whole thing takes place in a radio studio and the vast majority of the film is just a couple of people talking.

It should be boring, but the performance of the lead kept it interesting at all times.

Not a bad little slice of apocalyptica. Worth checking out. It's got more in common with campfire tales really than cinema, but it still worked imo.

I remember seeing this a while back. Very cool film! Totally new take on the "zombie" genre, and was pretty confused on how they took on the idea that a virus, or whatever it was, was spread through the English language. Hm. But the entire film was pretty neat. I liked how they only had one location (apart from the beginning), all set in a radio station. The characters were interesting enough to keep watching.

One question, though...Did you watch after the credits? What was that about? I was so confused.

I think they just wanted to end the film on a happier note, so we got to see them in a kind of heaven where they were idealised versions of themselves...him as the Lone Ranger/figure of justice type and her as the Beauty.

In terms of the theme of the story, I suppose it's like the virus spreading through language and understanding of ideas. The virus needed to keep itself alive by spreading an idea. Their own ideas of themselves have survived even in death.

I don't think it really means a lot, I think it was just to give the audience a bit of a lift really.

Having said that, I really liked that little part and I'd like to see a story like that...where people who are kind of in some kind of non-reality are just exploring around and getting into misadventures.

This movie creeped the hell out of me. Had my doubts about how a one-setting story would hold up but the acting really keeps this one alive. Different but very good. Highly recommendable, especially, like Rick said, from a writing point of view.

This was a sweet flick, and for a canadian film it is pretty awesome, other than david cronenberg films most canadian movies aren't very good, but this one is an exception.  I was very surprised how the film was able to create tension with so very few characters in only one location, but it worked.  everyone should definitely check it out
