Not a review. Rather a lot of reviews. I've been addicted to these lately.

These might appeal more to kids who grew up in the 90's but they're hilarious just the same. It's funny how so many people my age look back at the 90's with reverence when in all actuality, a lot of it was crap.

Many of these are just over the top but a lot of them are really clever and full of insight. The guy actually has a decent knowledge of storytelling as well as filmmaking and based on his top 20 films, some genuine taste and credibility. The reviews are also long and go through films in their entirety so you always get something full and detailed.

While some are just fun, I think many could serve as good examples of what not to do in screenwriting, especially in regards to characters, logic, cliches and just plain stupid devices writers insert to make things seem cute.

Honestly, I think you learn more from what's bad than what's good. When you see a great movie, sometimes it's hard to explain why you were so affected by it. When you see a bad movie, you can pinpoint exactly what they did wrong. Same goes for scripts. I'm astounded at how many nonmember scripts get attacked for bad format and storytelling, especially with all this talk against reading nonmember scripts.

So check 'em out. There's quite a range. There's also Nostalgia Chick who's also very funny but with a different style. Good stuff.
