If Jumper, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Faculty had a child, it would be this movie. I've never read the books or really known anything about this movie but I really enjoyed it. I don't think it did that great at the box office, I'm sure this was probably one of the last weekends it's in theaters so it's unlikely they will continue this franchise to its full potential, which is really unfortunate because it could be really great. The main guy Alex Pettyfer always came off as a big douchebag to me but he does a good job in this and remains likable. The girl from Glee is cute and the rest of the supporting cast works well. The music was a high point to me, they chose some good tunes, I'm a sucker for soundtrack. However, this is a really good action adventure, the characters are well developed and it's a fun ride. I was generally surprised with the level of violence and scenes that were rather scary for a younger audience, it's not as child friendly as I imagined it to be. I was one of the few that really liked Jumper (200, this one is in the same vein and if you liked Jumper, you'll really dig this. Check it out!

Probably the singlemost convincing argument NOT to go see a movie that I've ever heard.

Guess who's back? Back again?
