Is it art?

Probably not.  Definitely not.  But it did have its merits.

This anthology, homage to Drive-In B movies, is set up like a late night television horror show (like Elvira).  It's a series of five horror shorts.  It has a lot not going for it. The production values vary, sometimes the acting is pretty bad and the vignettes that connect them are pretty lame.

However, some of the shorts themselves aren't half bad, at least from a writing perspective.  And they certainly provide a good example of what can be done on a low budget.   Of course, which shorts you like is going to depend on your tastes but there seems to be a bit for every horror fan in this one.

I'm going to recommend this for its research value alone.  But the real reason I wanted to mention this film was because the first short in it had me saying Pia wrote this.  Not because it was ripped off from any short Pia has written (at least that I know of), it just seemed to be her style.  Anyway, she didn't write it but I was curious if anyone feels the same way when they watch it.  

There's a bit of gore and even though the effects are on the cheap side I wouldn't recommend watching it if you're sensitive to such things.
