From 1998.

A mocumentary about a director named Alan Smithee who is displeased with putting his name on the final cut of his film and can't take the easy out of putting the name Alan Smithee on the film instead because that's his name.   So he steals the film.

It's a biting satire on the entertainment industry and even though it's slightly dated I'm sure you will all enjoy it.  It's not the best film in the world but it has a good cast, lots of great cameos and some really funny bits.  I laughed quite a bit.

I even learned a new term, cossack filmmaker - not certain if it's real or not, however.

Enjoy.
