This is a great documentary on American grindhouse films, especially those of Roger Corman's New World Productions, made in the Phillipines in the 1970's.  Apparently the Phillipines were the location of choice back then because of the low cost of filmmaking and the unbelievably lax standards on actor and stuntman safety.  It was the "Wild East" as one actor put it.

Anyway, the film is jammed with interviews of Corman, John Landis, Joe Dante and a slew of B-movie actors I had never heard of.  Also, the film clips are absolutely loaded with T & A and hilariously bad dialogue.

Definitely worth a look.

Gotta pimp this one...

It's a super double feature with its Australian counterpart...

They make for a great evening of concentrated schlock!
