Anyone seen this biopic yet?  I thought it was good, but as a whole, pretty unremarkable.  Anthony Hopkins played the role pretty well.  His wife was also a treat, and their relationship kept the plot moving nicely (for a biopic, this film sure did have a lot of character-driven conflicts).  It wasn't incredible, but I enjoyed it.

I did enjoy this film, but mostly for personal reason.
I can relate to the relationship Alfred and Alma had.

So that sentiment carried me through the rest of the film.
Yes, it's not a particularly gripping story. But it works.

Granted, I prefer the drama of "The Girl" with Toby Jones giving a good turn.
But the sentiment of this film won me over as well.

Good performances, but not a serious awards contender.
Poor Toby Jones! He already went through dueling Capote pictures.
Now it's double the Hitchcock, poor guy can't catch a break!
