We've all heard the moans and boos, but have we all actually seen the flick?  I blasted this thing to high Heaven when it came out, but my rants were based on what I read...which is obviously far from fair.  I just wasn't about to give this thing a penny of my money.

Well, now that it's streaming on Netflix, I jumped in, all ready to be amazed at its ineptitude.

What ended up amazing me was how dreadfully dull it was and how poorly it was made and written.

This is the kind of crap that goes DTV, or direct to Netflix.  Downright shocking it was theatrically released and even more shocking that it did so well on its opening weekend.  Actually, it's not fair to all the well done movies that don't do so well for this reason or that.

This movie sucks.  Period.  End of story.  I honestly see no redeeming value here at all.  There are 2 instances in which someone is contorted in an odd, scary position, but that does not a movie make.  The "ending" is a fucking joke and the makers of this trash should be sued, then tarred and feathered.

Pure garbage in every way imaginable.  This thing SUCKS!!!!!

I did check this one out a while back.
And yeah, uphill molasses battles are more riveting.

There was a LOT of uproar, literally, over the ending...

This clunker really took advantage of that January lull.
And this year, Texas Chainsaw 3D took up that mantle...
And dropped 82% in its second weekend of release!!

The ending to this was bad enough. They screwed the pooch by setting up rules then breaking them one by one. If it was not "found footage" they might have been given more of a pass. I'll take a Texas Chainsaw 3D over this tripe any day.

In fact. I'll take The Last Exorcism and its upcoming non-found footage sequel over Devil Inside any time. And I haven't seen Exorcism 2 yet.

The ending of Devil Inside was the least of the film's errors.
