Shockingly, jaw droppingly horrible in almost every single way imaginable!!!!!!

Unreal how poor this thing is.  The reviews are correct, only in reality, it's worse than anythign you've read.

The writers and makers of this steamer really fucked up, based on what they chose to show.  Most scenes run at least 4 to 5 minutes and are so slow, you'll swear you're at a funeral.  I continuously hit my menu button to see if it was possible that time was passing at the rate it seemed to be.  Just so many completely unnecessary dull, boring scenes and situations, it's really laughable.

Acting is not good from anyone.  Tyler Perry, whom I'm actually not familiar with, as I don't watch those Madea things, is just not correctly cast here.  Edward Burns turns in a terrible performance, and really the pairing of these 2 is a big mistake.  Finally, Matthew Fox...oh Matthew...oh Matthew.  Just horribly over the top, cartoonish, Snidely Whiplash level of villain here.  His facial expressions are just comical.

Story-wise...meh...horrible again.  Really makes so little sense, is so far fetched, so dull much of the movie, and just not what any doctor would ever order.

I miss Morgan Freeman, as Alex Cross, but no one and nothing could save this script.

Special flipping of the bird to Director Rob Cohen who must have been heavily medicated on something while attempting to direct this.  You should be embarrassed with yourself, Rob.

No reason whatsoever to sit through this snoozer.

Not much to add to Jeff's excellent review of this stinker, but I'll try...

Just horrible in every way and there is no saving grace to speak of.

After watching Reacher recently where they actually put a lot of effort into turning the book icon into a screen presence, this made this even more flat and crude.

Cross is supposed to be a smart cop who see's the things that other cops don't but it's hardly given any weight behind it. He shows up to a crime scene and throws out these theories without any real back up or prove but guess what, he's right.

Towards the end, when trying to locate Fox's psychopath,  Burns character tells Cross to think like him and suddenly like that he comes up with "He's on the train" WTF!

We never get any enlightenment about how he comes up with this stuff, we're just supposed to accept that he's right all the time.

This is because of a dire script that gave none of characters any substance - poor old Ed Burns is bad and him and Perry have absolutely zero chemistry.

Even the reasoning behind Fox's murder spree felt like an after thought where the writer suddenly remembered that he had to tie some loose ends.

Give this one a miss.

Saw this a couple of weeks back, and I am already hedging my bets on it being the worst film of 2013 for me.

Very rarely do I watch a film with zero redeeming factors. Illogical script, schoolboy directing and wooden acting; the trifecta of turd.

Some films are so bad they are entertaining. This was just bad it was just dreadful.

Bizarrely, this is Rob Cohen's third film in a row to receive only 13% on Rotten Tomatoes.
