From the people that brought you Cockneys vs Zombies a new thriller that takes place on on the isolated top floor of a Tower Block (Council Housing, Projects, whatever you call it).

This is a surprisingly well made one location, low budget movie with clever characters, writing, surprises and suspense.

The last remaining tenants on the top floor of a tagged for demolition tower block witness a murder.  Three months later a sniper picks them off, one by one.

While I had my suspicions who the sniper was, I wasn't truly certain who it was until the sniper was unmasked.  And though I knew at least one character would survive, I wasn't certain if anyone else would.

And just when you think you are in for your run of the mill thriller they throw in a pretty heavy theme for you to digest.

Not perfect, sometimes the dialogue was less than par in the more predictable parts of the movie - especially the protags dialogue.

But overall excellently done for a low - budget one location thriller.  Something any writer can learn heaps from (even though it might not be the easiest film to find).

Yes, Michael. Thanks for posting this.

I had watched the beginning of this awhile back and thought it was extremely well done. That early scene in the hallway was something to get one's adrenaline pumping. I could really feel the question arising in me, "If I was that girl, seeing that, would I venture out to help the gentleman?" I can honestly say, I might. Just the adrenaline, like I said, and feeling that feeling where you have to do what's right, no matter what. I don't know. Very scary stuff. If a person did nothing, that would be scary too.

It had me hooked even though I did have to call it short and go to bed that evening, leaving it unfinished.

For me, it just had a vibe going for it that I appreciate.

Sandra
