Has anyone else made it through all 15 new episodes yet? We watched them all yesterday and really, really enjoyed them. It took a while to get used to the new format, but it made new jokes, referenced a lot of the classics, and it's slowly starting to work its way into my brain.
"I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called 'Max'."
I saw the first episode and was REALLY disappointed. Does it get better? Because I really don't want to waste my time. I loved the first three seasons, but if it's not up to par, I'm not watching it. I realize that's asking a lot, but still.
I'm 6 episodes deep (decided against watching them all in one sitting, because I really didn't want to become numb to the humour).
After a disappointing first few episodes, it really does pick up. Tobias' episode was superb. I'm still not sure how I feel about the new structure though.
Will, it definitely gets better. I was a bit disappointed by the first couple too but they're definitely improving steadily (and the more that the interrelation of the plots becomes clear, the more impressive the story becomes).
Buster's episode is something of a pay-off for getting through all but one episode of the season. It's classic Buster. Somehow, they give him a big hand by writing in new material about his hand. Much hilarity ensues.
Yes, both Tobias episodes are great, too. Also, I enjoyed Gob's episodes too, but he's a polarizing character. At first, I thought he was annoying and just a prick, but then I realized they kind of play on that and he gets into some pretty great situations. After all, he's the originator of the chicken dance.
