I always compare teasers to the Inception teaser (which imo. is the best teaser ever made), and this is nothing spectacular imo. (mostly stock footage combined with some solid music and Mcconaughey's voice) - but it does what it's supposed to...it teases.

the movie is said to deal with wormholes and alternate dimensions.
The cast is loaded... Matt McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine, Wes Bently, Topher Grace, Ellen Burnstyn, John Lithgow....

Just gave the Inception teaser a watch - hadn't seen it in a while. Very nice. I do love this one, though! The music is perfect for capturing the mood.
Very excited!
Here are the words from the trailer:
We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments, these moments when we dared to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. And perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers and we've barely begun. And that are greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, as our destiny lies above us.

Way too many 'And's' beginning a sentence for my liking. Reads too forced, unnatural. I also don't understand the sentence 'But we lost all that.' We lost all what?
I see what Stevie's getting at with the accent but I think it has more to do with the fact that it's Matthew McConaughey. We all know what he sounds like but so rarely do we hear him speak lines like these in such a somber, contemplative tone. You gotta admit, it's *a little* weird.
Anyway, I'll check this out. The teaser's well done, I like the concept (as much of it as we've heard of it thus far anyway), and Matthew McConaughey's been on fire lately so hopefully this is consistent with his latest track record. The cast is also pretty superb.
That said, I'm sort of tired of the Nolan style. Everyone's ripping him off now. It almost feels like more of the same at this point. Hopefully, Nolan being the original offers up something new with this one. Glad it's about space; sick of the washed out monochromatic cityscapes.
It's about time McConaughey gets some recognition!! As you can probably tell by my avatar, I thought he was fantastic in Killer Joe. I hear he was great in Bernie before KJ but I'm yet to see that one.
Killer Joe and Bernie were both superb. McConaughey has been killing it these past few years with basically everything since The Lincoln Lawyer getting praise for his work. He's never been one of my favorite actors but I have a newfound respect for him and his ability. I can't even knock him for all the romantic comedies he's done because I get the impression he did them for fun and enjoyed making them. Nevertheless, I feel like he's been consciously branching out and taking on ballsier roles as of late so my nonexistent hat is often to him.
I'm interested to see him in Interstellar, for sure. Him and Nolan don't seem like the most obvious pairing but that can often be a really good thing.
Nolan does the best, because he works with the best. Hans Zimmer again taking care of the tunes... Which makes this trailer, basically about nothing, one you will watch repeatedly.
I was reading some comments on imdb about the trailer. Some perps had read the script and said the trailer hardly shows anything of the plot but is designed to think you know what the go is lol
