Most people think of Cannes as merely a prestigious film festival where only the best of the best go.  Not true.  A lot of filmmakers try to hawk their surprisingly awful films there.  It's a comforting reminder that when stuff this bad if getting made, there's always a chance.

I'm pulling for Kung Food, personally.
