Love Melissa ...loved Heat...liked Identity...not sure I'll like Tammy but when it comes out on red box I'll  see it. She rocks as far as I'm concerned...maybe she should remain an actor not a writer Often you see films that really suck and then you realize it was written by some star actor...that prolly had enough money to make it whether it was good or not.

Marketing is everything today. Money is everything. If they have a hot actor, a shitty movie CAN/WILL make money. Whether we like this or not ...it's where big box is. I've grown more fond of indie over the last couple of years...because of this.... still I love Melissa...the fat girl rocks IMO.

You know, as consistently terrible as this movie has looked, I still slightly hoped that it would be an unexpected comedy gem. You're crazy Kevin, I know. However, I like Melissa McCarthy, I think with the right material she's a riot.

With her and her husband penning the script, I thought this might have a chance. I find them both pretty funny and you'd think a team like this would be able to write something that showcases McCarthy's comedic abilities and subvert her perpetual typecast as the aggressive, vulgar, overweight character.

Sadly, this looks like it ended up being a montage of every trope that surrounds McCarthy. Weirdly though, I know a handful of people that said this looks good and enjoyed it, but those are also probably the same people that youtube fat people falling off a treadmill, so I guess there's an audience for anything.
