The Guilty - A Danish thriller set in two rooms. Absolutely riveting, and a must-see masterclass for writers.

...cinema is not just what plays out on the screen, it’s also what unfolds in the mind of the audience.

I defy anyone not to enjoy this one.
And, it also comes with a spectacular final act twist.

OK, Libby, you're on.  I put it on our bucket list.  This weekend.  No drinks allowed. There must be something in the water.

Hope I haven't hyped it up too much.

Yeah, it's a bit crap actually, not too bad for a slow Sunday...
I'm lowering your expectations so you'll love it.

Hey, make it a marathon ... Watch The Ritual, Calibre, and In Fear - a few UK horror gems, after The Guilty..

Sweet dreams, you two.

P.S I wrote a script called Something In The Water. Sadly nowhere near as good as any of those horrors above.

Just finished it... Holy shit!!! Where on earth did you find out about this gem?

An absolute masterpiece.

I can't remember a movie that has made me so physically tense, so many times, for a very long time.

That actor did an incredible job.

One of those movies that you only get to experience in all it's glory once, but damn. Good find, Libby.

SPOILER

I figured it out a bit before she put it out there, not sure if I was meant to or not, but didn't change anything.

Warren, I didn't expect the twist at all... Big shock.

I was getting sick of trawling through what was available on streaming the other day so turned instead to the old standby,: SBS World Movies. Sometimes you get lucky there.

So glad you enjoyed it!

Well, saw your post yesterday and got it on Amazon. Yes! I agree. GREAT movie. Especially for such a minimalist film. I personally prefer intimate psychological movies and this one fit right in.
