From Wikipedia,
Sawyer is an ambitious, overachieving college student who has a seemingly bright future. While on her way to a job interview, a wrong turn leaves her stranded deep in the frozen forest. Suddenly, the young woman who has everything to live for finds herself facing her own mortality as she's punished by the elements and pursued by a band of ruthless outlaws. With nowhere left to run, she is forced into an uneasy alliance with an enigmatic loner who has shadowy intentions.

This was actually a nice little surprise. A lost babe in the woods isn't so lost she can't think and fight for herself! It first seems this will go down the ole rape and torture thing, but it ends up with meth cooking and corruption.

I was delighted to see a female lead character that actually fights back.

Not GREAT, but really good for an indie thriller.

Yeah, seen it. Yup, shades Of “Little Red Riding Hood” set in the Appalachians, where instead of wearing a red cloak, she drives a red SUV, and the big, bad wolf is a couple of hairy, backwoods meth-cooking hicks.

I really think it would have been way better if the hillbilly buffoons had actually abducted her. The tense forest scenes and meeting Lowell would have been more captivating if she first escaped from their home. But I’m no expert. But yeah, If you're looking for a decent movie to keep you occupied on a rainy day this one is still worth a watch.-A
