Based on the reviews - I think I may be the only person that didn't l love this movie.
Far too chaotic for me. It was kind of like it didn't matter what was in the next scene because anything was possible because the simple explanation is mulit-verse, so - here are your hotdog finger people.
I think I would have dug Two Things, At The Same Time in two Places. Kind of a butterfly effect in two universes. Just too many moving parts in this one for me. I do know I am a loner on this one.
Dave, I have a feeling (based on trailer alone) I'm going to be in the same camp. Going to give it a go soon just based on hype.
Based on a trailer I thought that.
I also dislike so many that others like - WestWorld, Inception. Oh, ok, I'll just blurt it out - I am not sure about Pulp Fiction. So there I said it.
But this...
This was something.
Now, I'll not want to see this again. It's not one of those. But man, was it not an adventure! The story is not mind-blowing, it's the execution that really makes you tipsy. I regret not doing substance before watching it. You have to see it to understand what I'm talking about perhaps.
It's so out of the box of everything. It's just out and away.
One thing I'm sure, you have to see it. Now, you might dislike it but you'll be happy you saw it I think.
And I also think you've never seen anything like it because there are none.
I'm right there with you, Dave. It's been quite a few weeks (months?) since I saw it in the theater and all I remember is walking out thinking that it was 'okay'. Other than that, I don't recall much. So it wasn't very memorable to me either.
I loved Michelle Yeoh, though I think I'd love her in anything. Jamie Lee Curtis was pretty darn entertaining too.

Yeah, no complaints at all about the acting - I thought all were really solid.
I saw it on opening night and had an absolute blast. I thought it was kinda like what blockbusters are supposed to be. A little surprising, a little original, some heartfelt but inclusively non-specific character drama, but ultimately just some feel-good fluff to laugh and cry along with on a Friday night.
I think the people who talk about it like it's a masterpiece with a ton of depth are a bit off the mark, but maybe I missed it. But it's certainly the type of approach to wide-release filmmaking that I'd like to see more of, and I'm glad it's doing well, and yeah, I'm always thrilled to see Michelle Yeoh and Jamie Lee Curtis.
I will say -- the rocks scene was the hardest I've laughed in a theatre in a while.
I really liked it, unconventional in every aspect, great cast, amazing what they achieved for a relatively small budget... and so funny in places... I mean Raccacoonie, c'mon
