Great Simpsons clip. Thanks for the laugh, Michael.

On another note - Ant wrote four entries!
Wow!

Oh, shit, didn't even catch that. Doomsday for Denton was tied for my 2nd fave, the writing itself elevated it.

If I'd been awake for Who Wrote What I definitely had Ant down for Doomsday for Denton.
Definitely top notch writing for sure.

Ooh, and you even tied with yourself Ant for placing on two.

Congratulations, Michael!

I'm pleased to see my favourite TZ episode of all time influenced the top 2 entries!

Well done to all who entered, it was a pleasure reading them. And Bort, what a way to enter your first OWC, that's how it's done!

Your screen name (along w/ this TZ theme) reminded me of The Simpsons lol.

Again, nice work!

Yep, this OWC definitely captured my imagination... so four entries, though could have been many more, such rich source material to be inspired by!

It has been literally a year since I wrote anything and did it ever show, but that's what I get trying to figure out the ending while making constant changes to rest of the script with an hour left to go.

I really appreciate all comments on The Ewig.

Congrats to everyone who entered.

Looks like I need to do some more reading and reviewing...

Happy Helloween to all, and BIG Congrats to the peeps that took place here, and won the hearts of the readers.

Great job, all, on a what I think was a tough challenge for the non TZ fans.

Congratulations, Michael. And awesome to everyone.  I really enjoyed reading the scripts and writing mine.  The reviews of mine were great and totally expected, except for the fact that so many people actually kind of liked it, or liked the premise anyway.  It meant a lot.

I was surprised no one recognized any of my characters.  I created none of them.  All plucked from pop culture.  I wrote the whole thing in one take like someone who was going to film something with his buddies and you all share the same interests.  I do know the rules for sluglines and character descriptions.  I truly didn't think about it as I was writing.  Just lots of fun.  Always great to see a Dreamscale meltdown though.  Hello, Jeff.  It's been some time.

Perhaps I will do some rewriting.

Great OWC concept, Don.

Peace.

P.S. - How cool Jeff and I were posting at the same time...

Congrats to the winners and all partaking. Great Again was a very interesting take on an episode that fits perfectly with the current climate.

I've had no time to even watch one till last night. Twilight Zone is awesome. Can't believe I'd never seen one till now. Every episode I watched it felt like I'd already seen a dozen things inspired by it.

That rug really tied the room together.

Thanks, Paul! Glad you enjoyed it. Would've loved to read your take on a Twilight Zone premise!
