Question about NDA (currently 253 views)

I recently got a reply to a a query letter that asked if I had a NDA. In the past - the companies usually sent me one of theirs. Any thoughts and ones anybody have an example to use.

Are you talking about a release form? Because Someone I sent a script to asked me to include one, which I thought was funny. In the past others have sent them to me, not the other way around.

Okay, apparently they are different. Sorry for the confusion. Still, never was asked for an NDA, but good on you for getting the queries out there. You can most likely download NDA’s from the web.

https://nondisclosureagreement.com/film-movie.html That being said, it strikes me as an odd question for them to ask you. Kind of like them asking - do you have an agreement that would increase our liability should we disclose the concept of your script to another part?
I'm not sure they want you to have one. They might be concerned if you do have one.
